i've got several albums, but i like "Gretchen goes to Nebraska" the best.
    but i'm not a huge King's X fan, so i'm no expert. to be honest, i don't
think they've released any _bad_ albums...

    Hey Everybody,
This is your last chance to be included in the final revision of the IRC web
page. If you want to be on it, send me your picture and bio...blah blah
blah. I need them by MAY 9TH!!!! That's This Thursday!!!! If not, too bad,
you're not going to be on the page till at least late august. If you are
already on the page and have a "smiley face" then you might want to consider
getting a picture scanned. If you go to school, this would be no problem.
So, send me the stuff before the ninth. Please!!!!
    Resume Jamming!!!

Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance is a good buy. You probably don't want
their latest two albums, though. They are entitled Vanishing Lessens
and Carry The Wounded [EP], and they are not too heavy in comparison
to their older stuff- both released on Intense Records.

You might want to try their album *before* POD. It's their best,
IMO. It's called Psycho Surgery- it is released on Intense *and*
Metal Blade (much like POD). Psycho Surgery has a lot of classical
    influences.

They've also got an album before that called Stop The Bleeding-
released on Intense and Metal Blade. It is heavy, but it is also
high in the cheesy lyric catagory. It's got 3 great songs- Ark Of
Suffering, The Test For Leprosy, and Somnambulism.

Also, they *just* (like a week ago) released a greatest hits (with 2
new songs). It entitled The Collected Works Of Tourniquet. The 2
new songs are back in their old style, and very heavy in comparison
to their latest two VL and CtW.

There all great...you're gonna get a lot of ideas of what to try first from different people...

Here's what I'd try: -Gretchen Goes To Nebraska is a good start -their new one (coming out May 21st) is awesome! I'd go for that second... -try Dogman if you like a more "grungy" feel -the self-titled and Out Of The Silent Planet are great too -Faith Hope Love is *my* least fav, but it's still good

DT hat (the white one), Rush shirt. That way you can look like a Rush fan AND have a signable article of clothing for DT. Yeah, word of advice to all: black clothing is really hard to sign, unless you have a gold or silver marker on hand. Something about black ink on a black surface not showing up well due to the natural incompetence of light and its limited spectrum.

If this magazine deal is real, but someone keeps repeating it on the Internet, I don't think the company would mind a nice friendly fax inquiring about their business...and a few pointers...and a few spammed faxes... Gee that would be harsh, considering they aren't really responsible for this crap on the 'jam, but I supposed if one were to just fax them oh, fifty or sixty copies of what we see in almost every digest with a simple "I'd like some more information" at the bottom, I don't think they'd have a problem... CAUSE THEY'D BE OUT OF FAX PAPER. ;)

Kinda obvious what to say here. I heard about it from a man in a passing truck on the highway. Now give me more information.

Today marks the release of Pantera's "The Great Southern Trendkill." I figure we'll see maybe two, maybe three at the most, reviews of the album here...

uh, i think the answer to that riddle thing is "what". am i right? I'm just curious how some people could think that Rush would open for DT. How many albums does Rush have? How many does DT have? Plus there's a hell of a lot more people that have heard of Rush than they have of DT. I know it would be good DT's popularity(opening for rush that is), but wouldn't everybody just rather go see each of them have their own full length shows? I don't know. Hey, here's my guess for the big "secret": -DT tours with Trixter -new band member:Zamphir on the the piped flute? a gutbucket player? or maybe a guy who just stands around and says "yo" or one line like all the rap groups have. -they're all getting crew cuts -four words: glam rock is back -DT plays on Letterman or Conan when new album comes out? -DT gets their own talk show and plays as the musical guest every night? -JP goes to the 8-string Hmm. I don't know about those. You all take care now, ya hear?
