Tim Caudill asked,

Those mother #*ckers have me really steamed right now. I ordered a bunch of
stuff from them over two months ago, and every time they send me a "Status
Update" email, it says the same thing pretty much: "This item and that item
are filled (supposedly meaning that the CD is being sent from the supplier
and they should get it in the next day or so) and these other items are
still on order." So finally I got sick of waiting for the last two items to
be "confirmed" (as they like to call it) and I canceled those two items.
Then they email me and say those two items are out of stock since the 6 week
"on order" status had expired, and then a day later they said the items were
on order again....AFTER I HAD ALREADY CANCELED THEM! Then they sent a
message saying that they could no longer cancel those items because the
items had already been sent from the supplier. Meanwhile, they never
bothered to send the items that were "Filled: Confirmed". Assholes. I'm
about to call my credit card company and make sure that CD Europe hasn't
already charged me, and I very well may cancel my order completely.
Bastards, I say. Bastards.
Part of their problem is that they have nothing in stock. They only have
"connections". So it takes them FOREVER to get anything you ask for. There
are other online stores who provide excellent service. Apocalypse has been
very good to me, and so has CD Universe. Between the two of them, I'd
imagine you could find just about anything. CD Europe can suck my
mother-f*@#ing .d%^k......
Just my own experience with them. I bet some of their other customers are happy.

You guys'd be surprised how evolved we Turks are. Where there is money to
make, we'll have the stuff. However, although you might find DT there quite
easily, the sound quality on tape is not so good, since it's not an
original, but a copy issued under license by a local distribution company.
Yes, Turks are a bit behind in CD technology, so 99% of the market is audio
tapes. (You can always import stuff) One big reason for this is that the
place where Turks listen the most to music is in the medium-sized public
transports and their private cars where cassettes are cranked up all
through the day. In Turkey, an audio car player is a must.
In fact, I'm surprised you Americans don't have LiT video. Hahaha...

Greetings!
Well, vox on Yngwie's "Magnum Opus" is Mike Vecera (I don't know this
spelling is correct or not.) who sings on "The Seventh Sign album". The
vocal line on MO album is terribly bad,and the songs are bad, too. It's like
an outtakes of "The Seventh Sign" album. Especially vocal line of the song
'No Love Lost' is shit. Mike can't sing well. I like melody he wrote that's
what he brought to Yngwie's music, but he doesn't have a long range vocal
ability.
Yngwie's latest release "Inspiration" featured ex-members of Yngwie band.
It's nice. I saw them live 2 weeks ago. Mark Bowels (Is this spelling
correct?) on vox. He sang well, though he didn't memorize rylics of 'Carry
On Wayward Son' by Kansas.
And Mark is new vocalist of Yngwie band.
Well, the best vocalist for neo-classical guitar style music is Rob Rock
(Driver,Impellitteri etc....) I saw them last week,he's owesome. If you
don't know about him,you better check Impellitteri's latest album
"Screaming Symphony" (available from Music For Nations in Europe soon).
Thanks.

There are quite a few who have been doing this, and the trend started
some years back... I think the mid-eighties were probably the years
of huge fuck-off drum kits, but more & more (like drum design) are
getting all retro about their setups... I remember seeing Fred Coury
(ex-Cinderella) with a big kit in '88, then a small kit in '90/'91...
Scott Rockenfield with his chain-bound bastard, growing into a
monster for 'Empire', shrinking into the baby kit he used for
promised land... I think Tommy Lee did the same, as well as a shit
load of others, but I'm at work right now, without my drum catalogues
(y'know, pictures drawn in wax crayons with no words to make it
complicated...) and my mind on other shit...
Ok, so how about guitarists who used to use huge guitars and now use
matchbox sized ones?...Are there any?

Hello!
Yeah! Jeff Scott Soto is amazing! You know his recent works (Human Clay
especially!) are OUTSTANDING! I like his singing style, rich in vocal
ability. I tried to check his works out,but he did lots of studio session
things. So it's very hard to get all of them. But as for what I grabbed,he
rules!
And musician appearances.....
Who cares Yngwie fatted! I like him as long as he makes good music. But
neo-classical guitarists are always ugly lookings, don't you think that?
Thanks!

OK folks I'm new here(about a week or so) and I saw that the debate on WDADU
was really going on, so I would like to share my view of WDADU.
The first CD I got was AWAKE(from Dream TheatER :)) of course), and I
was amaised because this was the kind of music I was searching for(I'm only 20)
so it kicked butts. The next one was I&W which is the most melodic(IMHO) of themall, but when I got WDADU the first thing that surprised me was the difference
between Charlie's and James' vocals. And as I like James' vocal, I think that
on WDADU Charlie did a splendid job especially on "Fortune in lies, Killing handand Afterlife". Although the production isn't very good, the main thing is, thata band can play so totally good on their first release is a point for them.
Enough from me...

| took the CD back due to the singer.
My favorite Yngwie Malmsteen vocalist was Joe Lynn Turner. Jeff Scott Soto
and Boals (the guy from the first album) were pretty good too. I think it was
better in the old days when his guitar-work was THE attraction on his albums.
His latest attempts at crossing over have been pretty miserable.

Sorry about the confusion, here, Clark. Dave used the whammy as a bow
really eliciting some interesting sounds. Very moody. It was a tune
he dedicated to Jason (most everyone did for one) and THE WHOLE
building was dead quiet throughout the tune. Pretty amazing for a
crowd that large (but not too amazing because it was a pretty dead
crowd for the most part).
Michael Angelo was the guy I felt wasn't a complete player, just real,
real, real, real fast especially picking. The guy has definitely not
matured past the 1980s posing/Alice Cooper facial contortion thing.

Recommendation to my fellow jammers! I was at my little

"Ren & Stimpy: You Eediot!" It was really good! I mean the
music was really good! Does anybody else have this or heard
it? The guitar player on the album rips, and the drummer is
pretty quick, too. Highlights I remember are:
"The Ren & Stimpy Theme song" (It's much longer than what
you hear on TV.
"Firedogs" - Great Funk groove
"Don't Whiz On The Electric Fence"
Some other songs were great, but these are the ones that
stuck out in my mind. It's kind of humorous, too, if you
enjoy the cartoon. If anybody else has this, share your
thoughts with me, and if you don't, give it a try. Just
keep the receipt in case you hate it and return it later.
Honest...it's pretty good music!

This CD is pretty cool. I had to buy it when I saw it. It has Ren
& Stimpy along with some others walking across Abbey (I think that's the
spelling) Road. It's good, but listen to it before you buy it. You can
always go to Cocksucker...em..Blockbuster Music and try it out before you
