    Hi all (again)

I guess some of you have never heard the Pantera song "Using My Third Arm".
Listen to it. Like it. Understand it. Then understand what Mike might have been
    talking about.

Hahahaha. That is sort of interesting. I remember hearing a friend
of mine do a cover of this song in a talent show a few years back.
It was just him singing and playing the piano. Really dark and
    depressing.

Well, only two more days 'til Rush :). WOO HOO!!!!!!

Any other jammers going to be there on Halloween? I had to decide between
trick or treating or seeing the mighty Joe and Steve, but I think I made the
right choice. :) I'll probably never find anyone at the Palace anyway, but I'll
be on the floor towards the back if any other jammers will be in that general
    area...
BTW... I'm not very familiar with Eric Johnson's stuff, what's a good

Houses was quite different from IV/ZoSo/Untitled/Whatever. I had trouble
getting used to most of the tunes on it at first also, except for Over
The Hills and No $.25 which were instant winners for me (guitar solo on
No $.25 was a great groove for it's time). I do agree with you, Neil,
that they needed a change. The mid-70's started saying goodbye to a lot
of the stuff like Comm. Breakdown and Whole Lotta Luv. Stairway, being
the huge album it was, perhaps gave them the ability to get bold on the
next one. This is why I don't mind if some of DT's new stuff is a
little more popular (whatever the F*** that means), if for nothing else,
but to allow them to try odd stuff on the album which comes out after
    that :)

    > Anybody give a flying fuck?

Anbody know if they give frequent flyer miles for that yet? I can think
of worse ways to work up to a free trip, uh, abroad? :)

    Jon

True! The Chance is NOT a big place. And it happens to be probably my favorite club of
all time... very cozy, awesome acoustics, nice balcony seating, great pit, etc. I've

Anton recently stated the following in Ytsejam #1977:

    >> Cruise to www.chromakey.com. > >Been there a few times in the past couple days. Every time >I get the message "document contains no data." > >I'm hoping this is cuz Kevin's updating the page >for the new album, and thus the new album will be >available very shortly.

Since we're speaking of Kevin, can someone tell me about how long it's taken them to get their Chromakey demos? Thanks!

    Jen

I have to tell you guys about what happened Saturday night. My parents and I were in Dallas visiting my older brother for parent's day @ Southwestern med school. Saturday night, we planned on going to some burger joint then going to the SMU homecoming football game at the Cotton Bowl (the Ponies won, by the way!). Driving there, there was a ton of traffic. I asked my brother what it was for (I knew it couldn't be for the game, SMU isn't THAT popular), and he said it was probably due to the Dave Matthews Band concert at the Starplex (1/2 mile from Cotton Bowl). That freaked me out, 'cause DMB is tied with DT for my favorite band slot. I asked my dad if we could leave the game a little early to try and get into the concert, and he said o.k. We started walking to the Starplex at halftime. When we saw all the cars and people still walking towards the place, we started to get worried. Right about when we got to the gates, a scalper came foreward and said he had 6th row center for $40 each (only about $10 above Ticketmaster ripoffs. . . I mean prices). We nabbed 'em. Right when we got to our seats, the lights went out and the band came on; I mean, not even 30 seconds after we got to the seats! Our timing was perfect! Less than 20 feet from one of my two favorite bands! It was a kick ass show! Being so close helped me figure out some of the guitar stuff I was having trouble figuring out, so it was a double bonus ;P
