Hrm. I dunno about that. As far as I can recall, DT's been quite
quick in the studio. They've had plenty of time to work out their
material, so I don't think they'll be in for too long (unless of
course they try to squeeze out some extra studio stuff at that time
for later EPs and singles and stuff. :)OK, here we go... It's not EVEN prog, but wtf?

This isn't a prog chicken, mind you...

There was this chicken who saw a road spread out before him. He
pondered whether to cross it or not and couldn't decide, so he
followed the road for a little while and came to a town. When he
appeared in town, noone had ever seen a chicken before so everyone
got real excited. People hooted and hollered and raved about the
chicken who always claimed to be upset and lonely and depressed cuz
there wasn't anyone like him. Eventually, he became so upset at all
the attention he ended up crossing the road, saw headlghts, "gone
tharn," and got his head crushed into pavement by a passing semi.
People in that town still in miss him and his absence seemed to
attract other chickens like a fowl mecca. Now all of the sudden
everyone wants to be a chicken, much to the depisal of people who
    don't like chickens.

It's kinda vague, but it works. :)

Could be. The last I heard, the third single was already selected
(I think it was "Some People Fly" but it may have been "The Voice Inside").
However, I've been having trouble reading most of the Queensryche web
pages lately because they all appear in strange fonts on my screen. Some
radio stations were reportedly playing "Reach" already and that hasn't been
released as a single, so "Voice" might not have been either.

I read on the internet that Genesis has a new singer named Ray
Wilson who sounds like a cross between Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel
    (convenient, no)?
A new album is scheduled for late summer/fall release.

<And now on the use of the Gustav Holst Mars riff at the beginning of DWT <(the epic piece on the CD). Yes I still think it's there; It's quite <distinct. And the 'tage song that uses the same riff is 'Prelude to <Madness' on HMK.

That 'tage Riff is a classical song by composer Greig, (died in 1908 or something). "Hall of the Mountain King" is the name of it, but 'tage renamed it and gave the subsequent song this title.

This little chicken... takes four steps into the road and looks back to see where he's been. The other chickens in the coop are applauding him so he takes one big strut with pride. Then four more normal steps, but different from the first four. And again, looks back to see the other chickens applauding, so he again releases one big strut. He goes through this sequence at least two more times, and today is still crossing the road.

    Well?

Well, I was out today buying blood capsules for the KISS concert tomorrow night, and I decided to stop into our local used CD store, see if they had anything new and interesting. On a whim, I looked up Fate's Warning and Fear Factory, cause I've heard people talk about them. They had Fates "Inside Out" so I bought it. I've only listened to it once, but I don't like it that much. It's not bad, but kind of boring. What I'm wondering is, is their other stuff better? What do other people think of this CD?

But if you think it's boring, a fun game is to listen to Face the Fear and try to figure out what each individual instrument is doing. Still, since you're on this list, you probably would've been better off to wait til tomorrow to pick up the new one. It's much more DTish.

I still think Perfect Symmetry is the best, though. Not just the best best fates, the best period.

Fear Factory is pretty good, too. I saw them open for Iron Maiden last year, and they were awesome. If i had some money to spare I'd invest in one of their discs.
