    >Nightmares for $19.99, and the Wake Up boot for $25.

Whatever you do, avoid Skyway of Nightmares. I bought that one and it has
the worst sound quality of any boot I've ever owned. Thank Geddy it was
used bin material. You might as well buy it to hear people converse in
German rather than listen to DT. In other words, the name says it all.
Wake Up's a good quality boot, though, from the Live PPV show, '95, but
that's a great price, I thought it was supposed to be 2 CD's. I've always
seen it advertised for $40 - $50. I'd like to get it, I just have a
    cassette copy.

    hey there.

I was wondering if any of you could send me your opinions regarding:

Fish (ex singer of Marillion) - I saw "Sunsets of Empire" and "Internal
Exile" at the CD shop and was wondering if they are worth a shot. I need
a general description of what it sounds like and which is better and how
    good they are.

Moonspell - For some reason I've had this gothic, evil air about me
lately and I remember hearing a tune or two from these guys and was
wondering what you guys thought of them.

Kip Winger "This Conversation seems like a Dream" - any thoughts? (no
    laughing!)

I got the new Alice Cooper live CD, "A Fistful of Alice". Pretty cool
stuff. Reb Beach is now playing in AC's band. Alice is cool. Also got
Sentenced "Down" last week. That CD is pretty cool as well. Vorph of
Samael even makes a guest appearence to go along with the new, thrashier
    vocalist.

I'm anxiously awaiting Amorphis "Elegy." I am really getting into those
guys and I only have two of their CDs "My kantele" and "Tales from the
    Thousand Lakes."

As far as Seventhsign goes, I have their "Perpetualdestiny" CD. It's
pretty good melodic metal with an excellent singer but it's not exactly
mind blowing progressive stuff. It's fairly straightforward and again,
the singer is very good. They have a new CD out but I haven't got it
    yet.

I understand they were selling Fates Warning shirts at some gigs. How
come they weren't at the one I went to? Dang it.

    Dream what?

This was directed at the people who have said DT has sold-out. I was
wondering how many of them are sell-outs according to their philosophy. My
post had nothing to do with DT because I don't believe DT had sold-out. But
the people who think DT sold-out, think that DT is not happy with their
music because MP said to shoot him if he sold-out. Therefore by the
Transitive Property of Ytsequality, MP would die, and thus he would not be
    too happy if DT sold-out.

Just a few things to pass along:

1: The new Genesis album comes out September 2nd. Life is good.

2: Faith No More is playing Philadelphia on September 20th. Life is very good.

3: 3 Days later, the new DT come sout. Life is very very good.

I just spoke To Chris Buzby, and for all of you who haven't purchased the new Finneus Gauge disc (and who wants to) there should be a deal soon to have "more once more" distributied in every major record chain in the country. This is good news for those of you who don't want to send a check to Langhorne to pick one up. Why, i don't know. With that same note, i'm not happy that FG isn't playing ProgDay. It's come to my attention that FG is not the only band that has had copywright problems with Peter Renfro. Seems this guy is in it for himself, and not for the music. Not good.

    that's all on this end

ARE YOU NUTS??!! When I first heard the 6:00 intro, I was flattened by how awesome it was!! It was classic, ballsy, incredibly rhythmic DT! I WAS disappointed when I heard the scratchy vocals, which I think sucks most of the time. Further, the 7 string guitar sound was disappointing, too. I thought DT was turning into a pure metal band with lots of chops....

Anyway, I've never been able to figure out why people haven't thought that 6:00 was one of DT's BEST songs ever. Maybe it's just my bias because I'm a drummer and think 6:00 is about the best drumming song you'll ever hear.....
