Some little thoughts..
Eternity-X sampler:
Don't you people ever get any samplers ? They're all like
that, the songs always cut off. It's not just them.
One more stupid reason not to get to know their music.
Childish really.
About those pix about us jammers, that would be cool. I'd
be interested to know who I'm "talking" to. Not that the face
really matters, but it would be great to put together faces
and stories.
By the way, heard Fish is coming to Finland again. Anyone
seen him live ? I've heard the last time he was here the
show was great. No doubt about it.

You know, I've been on the jam for over a year, and this is the single
worst piece of filth I have ever seen posted here. We have rules about
things like religious debates, country debates and things like that.
But people like this are the ones who need to be kicked off the list.
Come on Skadz, lets get rid of this worthless waste of sperm & egg.

Jammers,
In case no one knew, teh Fates Warning show at the House of Blues is an
18+ show, not 21! WHich means I can be witness to the awesome fury of
Fates! YIPPY! (I'm 18). Also, The two opening bands are Captain Krush
and Systems Reborn (whoever they are... damn). I really wanted to see
Divine Regale. Oh well, at least I can go dammit!
Does anyone know the capacity of the HOuse of BLues and what the chances
are that it will sell out? Have any of the fates shows sold out yet?

Anyways - I interviewed Mark before the show (a genuinely pleasant guy)
and here's some of the info he passed on (I'll have the full transcript on
my site when I type it up):
In Europe, they filmed 8 shows and will be releasing a live video and CD,
hopefully by Christmas.
They also have plans to release an acoustic album.
He played drums on Kevin Moore's new album - Chromakey (or something)
Joe left the band cuz he had a baby and wanted to be at home more. Joey
was an old friend of the band, so they asked him to join the band.
They have a permanent keyboardist now (forget his name) and plan to keep
him and not hire a second guitarist.
Frank was fired from the band cuz Mark said he refused to do a planned
tour a year or two ago and had not been giving enough to the band for the
last few years.
They are hoping to do a second European and US tour later tis year in some
more not-so-out-of-the-way places.
John Arch is doing nothing musically these days - he's home in CT making
furniture.
That's all I remember.
Other than APSOG, they played.......
Life In Still Water
Face the Fear
Monument
The Eleventh Hour
We Only Say Goodbye.

Nope. 4/4 is four quarter notes per measure, and 4/8 is four eighth
notes per measure. An eighth note lasts half as long as a quarter note,
so when your sequencer played the 4/8 measure, it sounded exactly as it
should have. 8/8, on the other hand, is the same as 4/4, but your
sequencer will click twice as many times -- but the number of quarter
notes per measure is the same.
Quiz time: What will 16/16 sound like?
Hope this helps!

I have forwarded your message to ytsejam-owner so the he can see you poetry
too. If you see crap like that on the jam, don't bitch on the list, send a
complaint to the owner/Skadz.
Angra, 'Reaching Horizons' I think is only available from Angra's US
distributor's Empire Entertainment, never seen it anywhere else and is
quite hard to get, wonder if Sony have bought the Angra back catalogue too
?

I know you're joking, but, I've been meaning to ask this question here
for awhile. I read an arctile with Celine Dion, and, she says she tries
not to talk, when she doesn't have to. She does this to save her voice
from getting hurt. I just wanted to know if this is a good thing to do
or not. I'm no singer, but, I'm interested in knowing if this is any
good for your voice or just bull feathers(trying to keep the jam clean
:).

Hey, I can't understand it! This guy actually wrote a post defending his

letters...WTF!!! ;-)
It's funny someone was talking about how this list is going to go to
hell when the FII fans come in. Did I fall asleep or something? Is it
Sept. 23rd already? How come my FW alarm clock didn't wake me up? Oh,
it's set for to go off in another 25,748 WFS's(yep, I got it wrong last
time), or another 3,888,000's 3:11-3:12 of YNM's! YEAH!! IT'S GONNA THE
ALL-TIME BEST SELL-OUT ALBUM THIS DT KISS-UP HAS EVER NOT HEARD, imo!!!

Judging by the word out about the Mt. Vernon show, it
seems like I made a good choice to not make much effot to
go see the show.
I was surprised when there was no NYC show, I mean, I
figure it would have been easier for most people to get to
a NYC show as opposed to a show in Mt. Vernon (which is
not far away from NYC, if I remember where it is)
A shame, I guess. Good thing that they fired their tour
manager... oh well, sounds (from other concerts, not the
Mt. Vernon one) like it was aa good show!
