            Yes, I'd agree on suggesting "Space Dye Vest" -- I know some
    non-proggers who like that song. I'd also suggest a few Jethro Tull
    songs, such as "Jack-a-Lynn", "Wondering Aloud", or other acoustic
    type songs by them. I also think Marillion's "Misplaced Childhood"
    would be a good starting place since it has some great melodies and
    isn't too heavy or harsh.

            About 7 years ago, I knew this woman I had just met was very
    special when she played Marillion's "Misplaced Childhood" for me
    followed by Pink Floyd's "Animals". And! She enjoyed it when I played
    Jethro Tull's "Aqualung" (the whole album) and even King Crimson's
    "Indiscipline" and "21st Century Schizoid Man". :-)

            And the best part is, everything else about her is just as
    wonderful! Which is why I married her. :-)
