Jazz is no longer part of the tribute team. Read on and you'll understand
why. This is a letter I received from her this morning.

Peace be with you and God bless, ~Vince

I picked up the Queensryche "Promised Land" CD-Rom yesterday. It's pretty
cool - 2 CDs. I haven't looked at the video game part yet - I was wondering
if anyone had started playing it yet. It looks like one of those old Leisure
    Suit Larry type games...

ok. i have one request, which i'm sure has crossed other jammer's
    minds as well...

**PLEASE TAKE THIS CRAP TO PRIVATE EMAIL!!**

it's bad enough to see a million posts from everyone and their
brother claiming they can play every DT part ever written for their
respective instrument, but now we have to witness this egomaniacal
    bitch fest from you two?

this is fucking ridiculous. PLEASE take this private email or setup
an alternative list for the tribute.

AAwwwwwrrriigggghhhhhtttt!!!! This rox. Start the bar-b-que, grab the
beer, call the in-laws and get the kiddies over. We'll hog the couch,
burn the food, and finish all the popcorn. RRaaaahhhhh!!! It's a good
thing I re-subbed to the jam, or I woulda been missing out on such hapy
ass shit as this. Hey Vince, when are you gonna get rid of this problem?
Anyone else interested in banning Jazzmin from the project for her
negative attitude? Will Jazz overcome he petty jealousy and paranoia and
realize that no one is out to get her, yet? Will this happy little
festival end in disaster? When will the madness end? Will I be able to
finish all this popcorn cause no one's showed up yet? All on the next,

    ksh: laughing: not found.

Oops, sorry, wrong directory. Let's try this again....

How things would be different if Microsoft was headquartered
    in Arkansas...

    1. Their #1 product would be Microsoft Winders.
    2. Instead of an hourglass icon you'd get an empty
        beer bottle.
    3. Occasionally you'd bring up a window that was covered
with a Hefty bag and some duct tape.
    4. Dialog boxes would give you the choice of "Ahh-right"
        or "Naw".
    5. Instead of "Ta-da", the opening sound would be
        "Dueling Banjos".
    6. The "Recycle Bin" in Winders 95 would be an outhouse.
    7. Whenever you pulled up the Sound Player you'd hear a
        digitized drunk redneck yelling "Freebird".
    8. Instead of "Start Me Up", the Winders 95 theme song
        would be "Achy-Breaky Heart".
    9. PowerPoint would be named "ParPawnt".
    10. Microsoft's programming tools would be "Vishul Basic"
        and "Vishul C++".
    11. Winders 95 logo would incorporate the Confederate flag.
    12. Microsoft Word would be just that: one word.
    13. Instead of WWW servers, Microsoft would have KKK servers.
    14. New Shutdown WAV: "Y'all come back now!"
    15. Instead of VP, Microsoft big shots would be called "Cuz".
    16. Hardware could be repaired using parts from an old
        Trans Am.
    17. Microsoft Office replaced with Micr'sawft Henhouse.
    18. Four words: Daisy Duke Screen Saver.
    19. Well, the first thing you know, old Bill's a
        millionaire.
    20. Spreadsheet software would include examples to
inventory dead cars in your front yard.
    21. Flight Simulator replaced by Tractor-Pull Simulator.
    22. Microsoft CEO: Bubba Gates.

If you are from Arkansas and are offended by this, I offer one of two
    possibilities:

    a) relax
    b) move

    Buh bye :)

If there's one thing that's constant with Metallica it's change. Every album
they've done sounds different from the previous one; and the next one (which
Lars says will be out in November) will probably be different from LOAD. When
I saw them in San Jose they played Devil Dance, which is one of the HEAVIEST
songs I've ever heard Metallica play.

    >At least I hope not.

LOAD is an awesome record! Just because they refuse to play Master of Puppets
over and over again doesn't mean they're any worse, they're just doing something
different. If you want to hear the same song over and over listen to AC/DC.
They've been playing the same song over and over since 1980.

    >I think that stunt at the MTV Europe awards said something.

Truly an incredible set. They rehearsed King Nothing (which kicks ass anyway)
and play Last Caress and So What.

    >Cool to see 'em playin' Motorbreath again live.

They're not playing it at all shows though. I've been to three showws on the
    tour
so far and it was only played at one of them.

May Satan eat your children if you ever send me this .sig again.

    Jizz,

Chill out for a sec. I don't understand what the problem with his sig is.
Unless of course you find people saying nice things offensive. If Satan eats
his children I hope yours get Cancer.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Now, on to BeBop! If anyone here hasn't heard of BeBop Deluxe then go get their
only CD available here, Live in The Air-Age. I used to listen to these guys in
the 70's and they were awesome. For you guitar players out there, the guy who
played guitar in the band was Bill Nelson; who is probably the best guitar
player that no one ever heard. They were just about to go big time when they
broke up. They have many CD's available in Europe, but here in the ol' USA the
live one is all that's available. It's on One Way records (same label that has
WDADU) and it's worth every penny of teh $10 it costs.

May the Lord bless you and keep you in good health,

            hard.....

Unfortunately, my opinion, which really means no more
than anyone else's, is that neither one of you should do
this thing unless there's some kind of resolution. I'm
not one to butt in anyone else's business, but as a
'Jammer, the fact that thing has gone so wrong before
a song list was hardly even STARTED is not a good sign at
            all......

You guys should really re-think your positions (which were
pretty much self-elected) and find a way to humanely set
this up......good luck - I want to see this happen as much
            as anyone else.....

                                    -Al

Well,I can tell ya about this.

    >>>>>On some copies, Surrounded is replaced by Another >Day. > >*Another Day* recorded 'LatM' also appears on the European *Lie* import EP >CD. Is this due to different European vs Japanese import versions of LatM?? >I know that my European import version has *Surrounded*, not *Another >Day*.

It's a very simple reason. We (Jpn listeners) love the song "Another Day",so MMG (at that time, east west Jpn now) decided to include this song for Japanese market.

I saw Megadeth on their Youthanasia tour and their new songs kicked ass live. Youthanasia just suffers from a very poor production. You can't start a mosh pit with the Youthanasia cd, but if you can't see people moshing to Ashes in your Mouth and Architecture of Aggression, then maybe you just don't like metal anymore. As for Anthrax, I don't consider Stomp442 thrash, and their really isn't too much double bass on there. There are tid bits here and there, but theres a difference between 'Stomp442 double bass' and 'Persistence of Time double bass'. Hopefully their new one will have good fast songs like SoWN. BTW, why did people consider that the sell-out album? Take out Only and Black Lodge, and that album rulez!
