Personally? I wouldn't buy it, unless it had some serious crap on it,

All of this is strictly IHMO:

Let me start off by saying I'm a fan of the Galactic Cowboys. I have
their first two CDs, so I decided to go out and get the new one, "The Horse
that Bud Bought". Mind you, I have not heard the EP or Machine Fish.
Wow, the guitar sound lost the edge [ala Load, HITNF (not condemning
either album)], and the songs are just not polished very well IMO. There
are some great heavy ideas in there, but the tone on the guitar seems to
lack the ballz necessary to get the job done. I mean, the guitar and the
bass seem far apart from each other in the mix. I was incredibly impressed
with Space In Your Face, and I was expecting another powerful, melodic
album, but this one keeps me a bit depressed.
I'm listening to the CD as I write this, and it's on #9, Media Slant.
Just to give you an idea of what I'm thinking, I'm thinking Green Day as I
listen to this. It's really sad. And to think this is a Metal Blade
    release.
1:50 into the song: cool slow down there :)
There's a lot of I Mother Earth-type stuff here. This band seems to have
gone from a melodic Pantera to a cross between King's X and I Mother Earth.
Not necessarily a bad thing, but it leaves me a bit disapointed.
My advice on this one: listen to a friend's copy of this CD before you
decide to buy it. It's not the same Galactic Cowboys.
ERRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAARRRR!!!! FUCK! #11 sounds like fucking NIRVANA!!!!!
    AARRRRRRGGGHH!!! WHAT THE HELL?!?!
This CD is going back to the store. I now see why there was a used one in
the bin, the day after the CD came out.

    Laterz all,

Peace and love, and good happiness stuff, ~Vince

So, how about a photo gallery for ytsejammers?, a sort of who's who

If any one wants to start off the site send me a photo (via e-mail or

Do you know what's the worst thing for a comedian? When he/she tells a joke and no one laughs. Or getting run over by a steamroller, I'd imagine, also wouldn't be particularly pleasant.

Every time I see George Farber's posts I hope that no one will reply to it -- and hence, he will fizzle away. But every single time, someone goes and copies all his posts and complains to Skadz that he should be kicked off the list.

Please, people, stop feeding the fire. Just let it go. And it'll go away. It's actually kind of amusing to the the sort of thing that someone will post.

A new outlook: If he doesn't go away, then the ytsejam will have the "George Farber mark of authenticity" on it forever, which won't necessarily be a bad thing. Kinda like the Mass. Ave. bridge with the MIT fratboys' "Smoot" gradings.

I mean, think about it. You're reading one of the several daily ytsejams and there are posts on the new album, musical discussions, Bafu, Ptacek, ..... and some guy that shouts fuck you and tells everyone to die! I think it's friggin' hysterical. But I am a little wacky....

    Just a thought.
