My Home PC uses MicroCrap Outlook...and after reinstalling the beast/looser/dork of a program...I forgot to adjust the mail output to Plain text from the MicroCrap color text...causing the stupid spewing of characters...

In the process of trying to get my CDr working, I produced several copies of the Home Sweet Home CD. Using some pretty cool software, I actually got the reproduced CDs sounding a bit better than the original (basically just a little louder in the mix). I only have 5 copies available, so they'll go to the first 5 inquiries. Be advised that Home Sweet Home is only about B/B+ quality to begin with, and that these reproduced copies are B+ quality. However, this CD includes Only a Matter of Time, and Moon Bubbles, which don't appear on many other bootlegs.
Track list: Under a Glass Moon Only a Matter of Time Surrounded Pull Me Under Ytsejam Moon Bubbles Another Day Another Hand/ The Killing Hand
Be advised that this CD will not include any packaging, artwork, or cover - just the music. Actually, the original didn't consist of much in the way of packaging. It will simply be a jewel case with the stocked Maxell insert, and the CD. I might print out a setlist insert, if I can find the right size for a jewel case insert.
Anyway, the going rate is $16, which includes postage. Although you don't get the boring cover included with the original, the sound is slightly better, and it's cheaper. Email all inquiries to me at kai@fore.com
Also available: 2 CDs that didn't come out right. I burned 2 CDs where the first 3 songs came out flawless, but the last 5 tracks all have noises in them. These are basically throw away discs, except for the fact that Only a Matter of Time came out good. If anyone needs a version of OAMOT on CD, and doesn't mind the rest being corrupt (the last 5 songs are pretty UNlistenable), then you might want one. These damaged CDs are $5, which includes postage. I'm basically just trying to give these away to someone who hasn't heard OAMOT live.

Actually, within the context of your explanation, it would make more sense if this line was spoken by the wife. Assume the father is adamant about not going to the doctor, she would be making the point that in marriage, whatever happens to one happens to *both*, so she *does* have a say in it. Then the part you quote after that is the father realizing that she was right.

Nope. My mom listens to alot of the music I like (not DT, unfortunately.) She does like some Marillion and Savatage(!), and _loves_ TSOrchestra :) and Renaissance, among others. It started with me & my heavy progressive stuff, and her and her Yanni and other new-age stuff, and we sort of moved towards a common point over the years. Unfortuately, I moved away after college, so now her musical tastes will go back downhill (she said so herself! I'm supposed to introduce her to a new artist or two everytime I go back home to floodville. :)
I'm 23, so you can guess that mom should be in the 'receeding musical taste' club, though the receeding hairlines go to dad and my younger(!) brother, and not mom & I. Dan (my bro') likes industrial and oldies (at the same time :), and dad listens to country, so there might be something to the no hair = no musical taste thesis... Older Rush (up to 2112, no further) is the only thing Dan likes that I like.

hmmmm... this makes sense. maybe JP's writing the song entirely from his father's point of view, and how his having a terminal illness affected their marriage... 30 years could also be the length of their marriage.
DDTT's: I bet the real reason why Moore left the band, is that the other guys got jealous because he always got to sign girls' boobs.
It'd be cool if DT released a fake CD with really short, simple songs. Then everyone would say they sold out. But then DT would go "HA! Asswipes!" and release the real CD with really long proggy songs. But that could be dangerous, because someone could take Portnoy's interview too seriously and shoot them dead.

Jon sings on two songs. It is great stuff from the little I have heard so far, just bit and pieces of the music, I haven't heard lyrics yet, but with Paul and Jon, there is never a problem with lyrics!!!
The band is still very much with Atlantic so unless Geffen is now part of Warner Bros... which last I checked they weren't. But you never know with all these mergers.
