Hello,
I Couldnt help but notice all the Eternity-X/Andy Miller commotion, so I
wanted to speak up a little.
I havent heard Eternity-X yet, but I have downloaded some of Andy's Wav
files and I like them a lot. I disagree with Keith (from Eternity-X)when he
said that people who write with sequencers are not real musicians. It takes
a lot to write and compose a piece, and even more to actually record it and
make a viable album. So, in that respect, I consider Andy just as much a
musician as anybody out there.
In defense of Keith and his band, how do you know he wasnt just busting
Andy's ass? I emailed him, and he responded immediately. In his letter,
Keith was very polite and said that he'd send me a copy of their sampler
tape. I havent heard them yet, and Im sure a lot of other jammers havent
either. I think its unfair and immature to try to 'boycott' Eternity-X and
start this big war against them. You might keep someone from listening to a
very slick band. If you dont like Keith or his band, write him and tell him
yourself. Dont try to bias someone elses opinion who dosent know them.
Well, thanks for listening.

I just downloaded Where Are You Now? It sounds OK, but I hope the other songs
are a little less grungy. Could someone please tell me where I could
download some of the other new DT material. I'm using Real Audio, hence the
songs are in mono and they take a long time to buffer out before you can
actually hear the song all the way through. Anyway, if someone knows where
to find new download potential DT I would appreciate. Also, if someone could
privately e-mail me with any info about Real Audio, and if not I'll just
figure it out. Computers are definitely not my specialty. Sorry if I took
up so much space with such little important to say.

Not sure if this has been discussed, or even mentioned...
Just noticed the other day that the new drummer for Genesis is Nick
D'Virgilio, who is mentioned as the drummer for Spock's Beard. I'm not
familiar w/ Spock's Beard (yet) other than the positive plugs they get here.
So, I'm wondering--what does this mean for the future of Spock's Beard? Is
this going to be another band (like echolyn) that as soon as I get into
them because of your reviews, they'll dissolve? Certainly hope not.
Thanks,
pg
---------------------------
D'Virgilio is one of two session drummers, used on the new Genesis disc.
Nik Z (the other drummer) is going to tour with Genesis, so I would guess
(and hope) that SB will remain intact.

Hey Vince, ya forgot an important part of his speach before FFF:
"This country was built on the blood of our ancestors, and we've fought
and died protecting the freedom we have today. So if you don't like the
way we do things here, then GET THE FUCK OUT!"
Heh, that was _my_ fave line anyways.
Hey Bahr, what 'bout MY PT CD??? I think I was the only person in the
club wearing a Dream Theater shirt...'cuz I didn't see anybody else.
Vince, myself, and another friend of ours were watchin' from on top of
the mosh pit for 'bout half of the show, then some ass wipe wanted to
start a two-person mosh pit where people wanted to listen instead of
mosh...I wanted to pick the fuckin' moron up and toss him into the pit,
where he SHOULD HAVE BEEN! Some lady 'bout half my height got into the
mosh with him and elbowed me in the nuts...'cuz I happened to be standing
right next to her...ugh!
Oh, and if any of ya were wondering who the fuck that idiot was who made
those hand gestures in the spotlight while Marty was soloing, it was the
fucker beside me.
>:)
Okay, so I may have helped make shadow puppets a couple a times....
I just got word b4 the concert last night that DT's already done
recording, they're in the post-recording processes now, masterin' 'n
shit. Took 'em 6 weeks to record everything I believe. *shrugs* Mebee
you already knew that. I think they're the only major band that I'd die
to see, and I haven't yet.
Well, I gotta get ready for Friday...

...and ya know what? EVERYONE will be able to hear pretty much the
same speach on friday on the radio due to the radio simulcast. I was
talking it over with him this weekend...it'll have "Fucks" and all in
it...although he told me they were allowing him to say "fuck" twice, he said
he'd probably only say it once...
And btw, it wasn't Dave's tubes that blew out, it was his bradshaw
switching system... I talked it over with Terry (Dave's tech) and Jimmy
(Marty and David's Tech)...they said nothing like that ever happened before
in all the time they had been working with the band...just a little bit of
trivia for all of you.

Um...I understand where you're going with this...BUT....
American Revolution and Timothy McVeigh are two totally different things!!
Fighting for freedom like the Americans vs. the Brits in 1770-whatnot was
definitely an uneasy revolt by "cock-sucking motherfuckers"...but the
reasoning doesn't equate well with Timothy McVeigh.
Was he starting a revolution? I don't see it. He was just striking back
at something (gov't) that he saw as an entity that was fucking him over.
Sure he was standing up for what he believed in, but it was no revolution.
And did Americans kill innocent British citizens and a nursery full of
infants and toddlers during the AmRev? For that Timothy McVeigh transcends
the "cock-sucking motherfuckers" that we know as the American
Revolutionaries...

I think "Mr." McVeigh should be stood up in a field, a stick of dynamite
shoved up his ass and one in his mouth...and at the end of the
countdown, not blown up....just to let him shit in his fucking pants.
Then repeat the above procedure.
He should be kept alive, if only in an attempt to figure out WHY someone
There is NO logic in what he did. He's a sick fuck!
What do I know, though. I'm just an innocent government worker wondering
if some other "progressive thinker" like "Mr." McVeigh is going to

Just read that MAIDEN went into the studio July 9 to record
their new album.
Also, ANGRA will be playing some festival in Europe with
MANOWAR, CRADLE OF FILTH (yikes!), RAGE, and GRAVE DIGGER among
others.
What is the deal with FATES WARNING. Does anybody know if
they are doing a full US tour?
And did anybody go to their shows in Europe?

That's blasphemy, man...any way you look at it. I'm embarrassed for Randy
that IMC (Jackson's parent company) had the balls to attach the great
Rhoads name to that monstrosity. Almost makes me want to sell my Charvel's and
Jackson's. What the hell were they thinking?
I wonder what Grover thinks about it? Perhaps nothing, but who knows. I'm
a luthier, and if someone brought one into my shop to be repaired, I'd turn
it away. I'm sorry, but I've never seen such an ugly guitar. My opinion only.
