Try to TALK to her. If she's not a bithead she might not wanna hear 'bout

Take her to a fine restaurant, listen to what SHE has to say, don't

Next month, when it's time to renew my tag, and since Alabama issues the
new style of licence plates this year, I figure "YTSEVAN" would look
good on the back of my Voyager.

That way there'll be no questioning whether some asshole really drove
all that way to Birch Hill just to see a stupid concert :)

Looks like Melissa's been busy lately!! :) (So _that_ explains why
the VCRs are always tied up and I can't play Mario Kart 64 while my CDs
burn... I was kinda wondering.) Well, she's all excited and bouncing off
the walls and giggly and stuff, so I assume your responses to her have
been suitably tremendous. I can't wait for Ytsecon IV to hang out with
    everyone again!!

OK, time for more "for sale" miscellaneous stuff. I am selling
this stuff because I have duplicates of it, or in the case of the CM CDs,
    as detailed below.

CD - Tori Amos "Silent All These Years" Limited Edition.
            Yup, the impossible-to-find rarest-Tori-disc-ever. Gatefold. $90

CD - Tori Amos "Y Can't Tori Read" from Chance (boot replica) w/bonuses
Tori's first "album" with the Mr. Mister & GNR guys. Mint. $35

CD - Dream Theater "Stranger than Fiction" bootleg, single disc.
Contains mainly stuff that was on Subconscious. $30

    CD - Rush "Critical Mass" (5 available) - Un-numbered! See below. $50
When I ordered the print run, they included a number of extra
discs as defective-replacements. Since the print run is sold out
now and I've shipped virtually every disc, it's safe to sell the
remaining def-rep discs (which are in mint condition) at the
original price to those of you who waited until the eleventh
hour (hell, it's past the 12th hour now!!) or weren't on the
Jam in time to order it earlier.

OK, that about covers it. It took... oh... 20 minutes to sell out
of the stuff the last time I had a sale, so this should be easy. :)

You have two 1-gallon jugs of water. You have a 2-gallon tub. How could
you get the water from the jugs into the tub, without using dividers or
any such thing, and still be able to tell which water came from which jug?

Thanks to everyone for supporting me and Melissa's humble
projects. I've seen the video montage several times now after the fact,
and it's a leap and bound better than the Rush one in quality.

    Hi all,

This is basically to anyone out there in Japan (Keiji maybe *grin*). I want to get the Blind Guardian bootleg called "Live in Japan 95". It is from the Imaginations tour and recorded in Osaka. Does anyone know where I can get this? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Well, I've only been ripped off by Jammers. I think anyone who was trading at the time of Jeremy Haynes (aka Sue Moscardini) got ripped off by him/her. Of course I am one of the two people who have been ripped off by Al Balkewicz.

The main fact is that I have only been ripped off by people on this list the Jam.

Hi gang Do any of you know what Charlie is up to these days. I haven't heard a thing from him since WDADU. Well I know some of you didn't really appreciate his doings, but he helped me experience a group called Dream Theater, which I love, so he's all part of that. I found nothing in the FAQ.

Second, any _ANY_ news at all about the ChromaKey CD ? A rumour said the beginning of June, which just passed, so I don't know. Please help!

Hello, Well, the subject says it all. Five minutes into our tailgate at Ozzfest, the fascist security forces of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority relieved us of all 36 of our beers. My two friends and I were forced to resort to hobo-like activities of asking others to help us out. Yet another reason New Jersey sucks: people refused to help us out. It's not that I'm dependent on alcohol, I just need it to have a good time. :P Then the bastards started the show early, so I missed part of Fear Factory's set. We also missed part of Type-O's set because we were stupid enough to go to the insipid Never-Never Land fair thingy. The second stage acts sucked, though I was never really paying much attention to them. Manson sucked too. I almost wished they had lost the court battle, but then Pantera wouldn't have been there either. If anyone wants more details, let me know. I found out that the publishing program on my PC makes J-cards for tapes! I spent last week trying to get DT graphics off the net (thanks again D-Man!) to use on them. They came out pretty cool. From now own I can just use those when I do trades and not have to write it all out. Woo-hoo! Someone mentioned Tunnel Records had DOE. I thought that this place was one to stay away from. Was I right? That same person said they had been waiting three months for their discs, so it would seem that way. Dontcha love how Skadz disappears for months, then comes back in a flurry of short posts...:) Still waiting for someone's opinion of the sound quality change on the Rush Signals remaster. Anyone, anyone? Bueller? :) Mr. Bahr: Should I beg you to make that Megadeth show into a Prism production or would a simple "pretty please" do the trick? :)

Okay, I know that "Damnation Game" was released in 1995. But what I don't know is when "Symphony X' was released. On the back of my CD case, it says (c) 1996, and yet on the inside it says: All songs (c) 1994. Hopefully it was merely re-released in 1996.

I'm asking this because I'm deciding whether or not to get "Divine Wings" and I don't know if the band is on an upswing or a downswing from their first two releases.

See, "The Damnation Game" kicked me so hard in the stomach, I now have a calostomy(sp?) bag, and at the same time, "Symphony X" sucked harder than a Hoover.

Please tell me their self-titled came first so I can go forth and buy "Divine Wings" in full confidence that their sucky singer days are over.

Just to make sure, on "Symphony X", their singer was Rod Tyler while on Damnation Game, it's Russell Allen. I don't want to make it seem like it was ALL Rod Tyler's fault that "Symphony X" blew, it did have some pretty bad production too.

Later guys, and I WANT NEW DT FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Coupla real cool EOJ's lately, the fates .sig, up again from the ashes, and then an old-school announcement from someone bearing the last name "Bahr"......

anyways......coupla of old disks I've semi-rediscovered/uncovered, one of my own, and another belonging to someone else, that I may have to pick up for myself....

The second one is Depech MOde's Violater......techno'ey stuff, but reall cool trancey stuff in there, surprised to see i still remember the words to "policy of truth" (never again is what you swore the time before)

The first: a Pete Townsend offering, the rock musical "Iron Man" There's this son gon there called DIG that I'd heard when townsend first released it, and I picked the CD up way back when on the strength of that single remembrance alone.....but there's other fun songs on there....one called "I eat heavy metal" where the character starts talking about "nitro-demitasse"

You have either one of these in your collection, I say it'd be worth a spin, dredge up some old, hopefully good memories......

Excellent album indeed. Back when I *was* a closed-minded metalhead I used to think Depeche Mode sucked hard ass. Then I started to open up to new music (new to me) and found that I really was able to enjoy their stuff (some of it, at least.) My personal DM recommendation is their follow-up to "Violator" called "Faith and Devotion" (or something to that effect.) That album is absolutely *amazing*. Maybe I could do an Iparty broadcast for those who might like a taste. Please, let me know.

    Listen with an open mind.
