you're on a mailing list for Dream Theater fans.

Yeah, theres a Savatage site located at
    http://www.winternet.com/%7Esavaweb/savatage.html There isn't much located
there about their new album though (I assume you mean the one they are
working on) because not much is known other than they are working on it as
of now but now song titles, album title, or release date are known. However,
it has a very comprehensive look at each and every other album including
pictures, detailed reviews, track lists, biographies, and lyrics.

My thought for a day: If I could put a supergroup together (alive or dead) ,
    it would go like this:

    Vocals: Madonna
Guitar: Criss Oliva and John Petrucci
    Bass/Backing Vocals: Bugs Bunny
    Drums: Mike Portnoy
    Keyboards: Fiona Apple
Producers: Jon Oliva and Paul O'Neill

    Hope it made someone smile.

    Maria,

The new Queensryche album will be out on March 25, Called "Hear in the Now
Frontier". I've seen a couple posts on here for QR sites, and the one I
    enjoy most is at http://www.mcs.net/~ryche/

As for the Savatage and Nuno information I'm at a loss.

    Take care!

I'm just waiting for other people to start talking about how cute
KJ's butt is, then I'll leave. No one has yet, though, you fucking
    dolt! I was only kidding!

This is a guy who thinks he can decide what percentage of people who
listen to Megadeth are on a lower intellectual level then he is. I
tell you, if 80% of the Megadeth fans are below his level, they'd all
be swinging around naked in the Amazon jungle.

a good show of confidence doesnt hurt, but just because you're playing a
dream theater song doesnt necessarily mean its going to come out good. its
the hardest shit in the world to play.. i've seen people who've attempted to
play stuff before, i've done it myself, then when you get a chance to listen
to it you can find out it really blows crap. not saying it does, just that
you're taking a pretty vile 'tude towards these judges.
therefore, it aint braggin if you can back it up, to quote good ol' jaco, so
make some .wav files off this video, and put them on the web. anyone can

    Greetings, Jamlings.
Wow. You know what? The jam sorta SUCKS lately! I unsubbed a few months
ago, then resubbed a week ago. Can we say boring? I mean, take this for
    instance:

    >Hope you enjoyed it, and sorry I had to chop it in half!
    >
    >Complete with burning guitars, bashed up drum sets and sealed with a kiss,
    >
    >Eric Paul LaRue
    >

Jesus christ. That was almost as deep as the G.I Joe choose your own
adventure stories I used to read. Not to mention, I started the "write
stories that you think up while listening to DT songs" thread about a year
ago once, and people thought it sucked then. Even though my voices story
    was cool, dammit.

    >I just figured that I
    >was biased because I'm in the ensemble, and that we probably haven't been
    >working as hard as these other groups.

Well, hate to put it really bluntly...but maybe it's because you suck. Get
    over it. Write something else.

Just because you like Dream Theater doesn't mean you rule all piss. Maybe
it means you want to be cool for liking a band that nobody else has heard
of, and you couldn't care less what's in the music.

    > Our music is biting
    >and aggressive, and they just can't seem handle it.

Kinda like the English language is biting and agressive, and you just can't
    seem handle it?

    >If you guys can think of any way to help us make our
    >final show be something really special, then let me know.

    Play naked.

Mark Smeets and Lars Hellsten......Just shut up. Nobody cares.

    >Oh..and to show I'm having fun...Lars...a personal invitation.
    >I am on irc, in fact, I am on the DT server/channel etc...If
    >you like, you can meet me there and you can confront me and
    >see just how stupid I actually am.

Hey Mr. Smartypants...Lars Hellsten used to come on IRC before any jammers
ever knew who you were. He left for probably the same reason I'm thinking
about it. It's boring as hell there too. People just fight.

    >All i know is that we need more DT airplay and TV play

    Thank you Bob Profound. <thwap>

    >From: MAMALOOKABOOBOODAY <skooc@earthlink.net>

The only half-way entertaining thing in the whole jam.

    >I was just curious; if Mike Portnoy decided to leave DT (HE'S NOT, SO RELAX!)
    >who do you think would be a good replacement. My pick would have to be Eric
    >Singer. Lots of you may not like KI$$, but Eric is a brilliant drummer that
    >would compliment ANY band that he plays for.

The fact that he played for Kiss automatically rules out the possibility
that he has any talent whatsoever. In all the 1,457 or so times that thread
has come up, that's the most retarded response I've ever seen. Besides, we
all know I'd be the best replacement.

In conclusion...I just wanna ask if anybody else remembers when the jam
used to be FuN. SuPeR fUn. I used be all excited when I got home to go
check my mail and read the Jam. There weren't huge freakin' arguments about
what band sucks and what band doesn't. There were people with senses of
humor. You guys need to stop taking stuff so personally. You saying "this
band sucks" is just not going to change anybody else's opinion about that
band. I mean, take Lars and Mark for instance. Now they aren't even arguing
about Megadeth. They're arguing about if they have brains or not. Go back
to kindergarten, guys. Besides people arguing, there's one line posts such
as..."hey, check out this new band." Fact is..we've already heard of all
those damned prog bands. And frankly, they're all starting to sound the
same. Hootie-syndrome, if you know what I mean. Soembody needs to be
original. I don't care if you can play your instrument well, if you sound
exactly like somebody else, I don't wanna buy it. So.."Man, these guys
RULE! They sound exactly like DT!" Guess what. DT doesn't even sound like
DT anymore. Have you heard the new stuff? It all comes down to the fact
that not everybody thinks like you, and not everybody is going to think
like you, and you should try to get everybody to think like you because
that's BORING, and BORING SUCKS, and that's why the jam isn't good, because
it's BORING, because i've seen all this stuff before, every single thing in
the last jam I've read, I've seen in another jam in one form or another.
Now, don't go saying "Why don't YOU do something new?", because I'm gonna
try, and I don't wana sound like I'm trying to be your leader in to the new
ytse-frontier or anything, but i AM going to try, because the jam WAS one
of the coolest things there was once, and I'd like to see it back that way,
    so, with that, goodbye.

I just got back from my trip and I look at one jam and there is talk of DT
touring with MD. HOLY SHIT would that be an explosive show.. I love
Megadeth. Dave Mustaine is the man. I think that the two bands WOULD
compliment each other. They are ALL outstanding musicians. Can anyone fill
me in on how this sort of came about (private email) Thanks.
    Tony
