Now don't flame for asking, but does anyone know anything about a setlist
for this tour? I'm REALLY curious to hear one.

I think everyone should list what they feel it should (hey if DT really DOES
read these, maybe they'll get some ideas :).....here goes:

    (in order of course):

New Millennium (man this would be an AWESOME opener)
    Under a Glass Moon
A Part from ACOS (haven't thought of which one yet)
    Peruvian Skies
    Afterlife
    Puppies on Acid (into---->)
Take the Time (I think that whole song change thing they did was GREAT!)
Hell's Kitchen (can't WAIT to hear this one if they play it) (right into----->)
Lines in the Sand (just like the album)
    Surrounded
    YtseJam w/ drum solo
To Live Forever w/ guitar solo
    Another ACOS part
Just Let Me Breathe (possibly switch the drum solo into this song)
    Pull Me Under
Trial of Tears (MAN would this be an AWEOSME CLOSER!!!)

I calculated the ACOS at about five minutes and added an extra ten minutes
to the total and came out with about exactly 120 min = 2hrs!

This setlist would completely KICK MY ASS if it was played...but that's my
    opinion.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I know that I signed the petition
because I wanted to demonstrate my support for DT, not because I was
hoping to be rewarded by being mentioned on FII. Sure, I would have
gotten a kick out of seeing the Ytsejam thanked, but I think all the
people bitching that the band doesn't love them need to grow up.

As per Mr. Jaison John's request...I would like to apologize on behalf of
my asshole little brother for posting the phone number for DT's management.
It was completelty uncalled for and he isn't even a Dream Theater

like Metallica..what do you want he is only 16...once again I apologize

Speaking of Nevermore, isn't this the band that rose up from the ashes of
that old band called Sanctuary? I have one of I think only two Sanctuary
albums called Refuge Denied (that Dave Mustaine of Megadeth produced himself
and also played a guitar on the song White Rabbit--an old Jefferson Airplane
tune I believe) ANYHOOO, it seems that a lot of people have mentioned to me
that Nevermore has the core of guys that were in Sanctuary, a band I REALLY
like even for how "waileeeeee" the singer is hehe.

Anyways, even if they are related to one another, you all should check out
one of those old Sanc albums. The one I have sounds very much like "So Far,
So Good, So What" era Megadeth, so that is pretty cool hehe.

(btw, I'm also listening to Cryptic Writings as I write this, a pretty good
pseudo-progressive type of Megadeth sound---I LOVE it!)

Not only that, but they _STILL_ have the link wrong to my page... and
they have links to a few other dead sites, and a _GOPHER_ site, didn;t
know anyone still ran a gopher site (including the one they have
listed). This is unbelievable. GOt a question, would it be
considered wrong to hack their site to fix it? :) Actually, now that
I check, the _only_ link on their page that will work is the one to

If I'm not mistaken (which I could be), DT's new management is called D.P. Entertainment Ltd.

Oh yeah, KAI, $15 bucks isn't that big a deal for the fan club. You get 4 issues of interviews and other stuff, AND a cd. I think it was a very good deal for only $15. So join now, and you'll probably get the next cd. But I know what you're feelin'. I've always considered the Jam to be the 'real' fan club.

I too was surprised that there wasn't a mention of us in the liner notes. I wouldn't have expected any except that ACOS sort of set a precident in my mind. Especially given the whole petition thing. But really, who cares? We should just take silent pride in the fact that we were at least helpful in getting FII out. The public recognition would only have been icing on the cake. I don't demand it, I don't expect it, and such an omission will not stop me from helping DT out in the future in any way I can.

I have a NON-CONFIRMED Megadeth show at the Ventura Theater the day after Christmas. A friend who has a friend who works there is the one who knows. It wouldn't be too suprising considering MEGADETH hasn't done a LA show for the Cryptic Writing tour.

I know they filled the Warfield(SF) well. I just hope this is a warm up tour or something. Anyways, the search for a id continues. Hopefully I can use my brothers.)

As some of you may (or may not) have noticed dreamt.org has been having trouble over the last 24 hours or so. My ISP (where most of dreamt.org is hosted) had to re-number its network yesterday and that is causing the problems. Most things are catching up now and things should be working MUCH better in the next 24 hours or so.

The band is still in the process of finalizing all the tour plans and that is the reason information has been slowing in coming. The only thing calling the office is going to do is piss people off and slow up the information flow even more. So, DO NOT be stupid and do this, just let the information come as it does. OK, this all the thanks DT gave on FII to everybody:

A very special thanks to our family and friends and to all DT fans around the world.

That's it. They didin't specifically mention their wives and childresn, etc. They just said 'family'. Same way they didin't say 'ytsejam', but 'fans'. We are fans right? So we are thanked. Besides, that petition was signed by many ppl that aren't even on the jam. AND we were already thanked in ACOS...isn't that enough? Or do they have to thank us in every CD they put out for the rest of their lives?

And i don't understand the whole kahooty w/ the free CD...we're doing this here all comfy behind our computers for FREE. While the ppl in the fan club payed a fee (and have their adress signed up there), so it'd completely logical just to send it to them.

    Ok, I'm a little pissed...

Who's fucking idea is it anyway to always schedule DT's Toronto show right in the middle of midterms (for most university students anyway)? Fortunately I can make it to the show. But since I don't have a car it's gonna be a real pain in the ass to take the bus to Toronto on the 29th, and back on the 30th.

Which is why I write this... are there any other jammers sy the University of Waterloo (or live in the K/W area) who plan on attending the show on the 29th who I could hitch a ride with? That would be really cool, but if not, I'll somehow find my way there anyway. I must see DT live!

Cover my Eyes: If DT are looking for a "hit" single, why on earth did they pick YNM over this? IMO, this song has "hit" written all over it. They'd just have to get rid of some of the high notes James sings, and make the chorus a bit more catchy (so bring in Desmond Child for that), but overall, I think it's a much more "radio friendly" song than YNM...
