As far as I remember that's not the only connection between Magna Carta and

Welllll, they did ditch us after the Bash on Ash decided they'd rather pencil in some rave dance party function for Nov. 2nd of last year and bumped all the zonies' hopes of DT playing some new shit into the proverbial shitter. Plus KUPD wasn't playing ANY Dream Theater at the time other than the usual broadcast now and again of Pull Me Under at 2 in the morning... ..so it really freaked me out when I heard James Labreatarpits say, "This is James Labrie from Dream Theater, and you're listening to KUPD" a couple weeks ago on the radio station, in the middle of rush hour traffic.
Oh sure, support DT AAAAFTER they swing by the state and head to Europe....grumble grumble....

Hey, what about us new fresh young whippersnappers who haven't seen the band live yet? I've only been a fan for uh...hmm...3 years? now, so I missed out on the Club Rio 'n shit for Awake. (Hey MP, the perfect band out here to open up your show: Obscure) Heh heh, sorry, I had to slip in the gratuitous request....
Hey, are you guys up for another Ytsegathering at Hooters before the show? Vince 'n I WILL BE THERE ALL DAY like the sick lunatic fans we are when they do hit whatever venue. Somebody contact Nathan Bradley, I wanna get thru security at this show and jam through JP's stacks....

Whoops, heh heh, guess I've already repeated what the Bahrman had already posted...

Okay, it was just the bass player, that's it. Not 2 dreggs, one. This has been a broadcast of the Eckie mishap system. Continue with your regular ytsejam deletion processes.

Hi, I was just wondering.. what country/state/city does DT visit more often? You see, im gonna be placed in witness protection/relocation program in a few weeks and i need to pick out a place to live... so i thought.. hell.. i might as well live where DT plays a lot right?

Puerto Rico too! Puerto Rico too!! Heehee. Please? hey, so DT hasn't been to texas since the awake tour? Aww. Ya know when was the last time they came here? NEVER!! Seeing DT would cost plane tickets. Hah, i win. :) Well, umm, yeah. What was my point? oh yeah. DT should come to PR. Which would be a cool thing. I would fall down. Moo.

I never said that fast is best. As I said, it's only a matter of interest. In fact, there's nothing I hate more than someone firing out notes faster than a pick attached to an electric toothbrush just for the sake of it.
Please read my posts properly before you semi-flame me. I just hate being misunderstood.

Well, actually, "Shadowlife" kinda was. _I_ think the new QR guitarist is former Fifth Angel ripper James Byrd. In the pictures on the qr.com site it looks like the Strat I always see him holding, and he holds the guitar like Byrd does...
But, who knows? JB would be a good choice, though...

I disagree. I can make that statement because John Coltrane is one of the legends of music as a whole, not just jazz. I'm sure that if the DMB sax player were changing music history as we know it then I would rethink my statement. John Petrucci, while a very good player, is not such a player which is why your analogy is incorrect.

I absolutely agree with this. Coltrane is just Coltrane. There have been and will be no others. He's one of the very few that when you say his name, that's it. Coltrane. That's the only way to describe it.
