Whoa, that's freaky. We have a place on our campus called the Sunken
Gardens. I doubt they'd ever have a significant concert there though.

    Hi guys!

    I'm back...

If anyone still cares, I've been to Poland in the last 11 days.

    I bought two CDs:

Savatage - The Wake Of Magellan

this CD is awesome! I've listened to it about 5 times so far and it simply rules.

    Marillion - B-sides themselves

Listened to it only once so far, but if it has Fish on it it must be good...

    good to be back,

Well, to expand on the Metropolis thread, here are some songs that I'd LIKE to hear in the middle of Metro Pt. 1 -

"Satisfaction" by the Stones "Stray Cat Strut" by the Stray Cats (Think about this - it'd be hysterical) The theme to Peter Gunn "Sunshine of your Love" "Purple Haze" "Dazed and Confused" "I love Rock 'n' Roll" by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts

Then again, I ate paint chips as a child - what do I know?

Nicholas Giannotti "Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool."

Maybe these DT fans need to go talk to some unsavory types (or >just get fluent in Photoshop). :) Good luck with it... It shouldn't be that surprising that many members of this list don't have fake ID's. Many cities rarely have 21+ shows. As far as drinking is concerned, no one needs a fake ID to get alcohol. And I wouldn't doubt that many listmembers, like me, are not part of the "social," "club-hopping" hordes of college students (they are obviously more distinguished than that).

Please correct me if I'm wrong. Also, I assume "Discotheque" is the U2 song meant by "Pop." I believe Extreme's "Cupid's Dead" has been played in it. I thought that was the song that has become a regular part of it, but, after watching the Milan '97 video recently, I'm not sure if it really is "Cupid's Dead." What is it? I also remember reading that Iron Maiden's "Remember Tomorrow" has been played in "Metropolis Part I." Somebody should be documenting what dates these have been played at. I'd do it, but I don't really have the way of finding out and verifying the information. I do the best I can with the information posted here (I'm saving all of the concert reviews for future reference).

I don't know, but they also play another song on the "Caught in Amsterdan boot", which I may put on my homepage (if I have some free time) for people to identify (MP3 file).

Humm... I remember that. I'm not sure if I have it here, but I definitely remember reading something like that.

I think that there should be some place on the web with the concert reviews for people to see... Something like what people have been doing for Yes on "Forgotten Yesterdays".

The easiest way to expand anything is to spell out all the words. Your page should be a lot longer that way.

well, i redid the old samples od Roland Rupp, they sound better now (I think) I did some more from the old files...the new songs will have to wait for now... Mauricio went for some vacations today so he wont be recording now...he returns until saturday I think...Im leaving today for some nice days on a little town far away from here...Roland and I had a little disscussion and I wont be producing him...we started pre production last saturday but we didnt finished a song, he has some cool ideas...but he wanted to watch some tony macalpine videos instead of playing, since we only have one week of vacations I dont think we're going to record more for now, maybe until summer...the disscussion was a little one so I think he's going to ask me to produce him later, I made some other MP3 files from old tapes I had but they are a little big... if someone wants them please contact me via ICQ....my # is 9267174 I have the complete Jason becker's Air played by him...and some shredding stuff..if you dont know what's ICQ email me...I'll try to setup an FTP server soon, I'll let you know.

thanks again for your time... (for those who doesnt know some of the old Roland Rupp files are uploaded on the Shredder's Lair, you can go there to download them, also there's a little bio from roland URL: http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Theater/7842/ )
