Well, as far as I know, the lyrics for "Without You" were almost all made
by Eddie. I don't know about the rest of them, though. I think they're
    almost all done by Gary.

Well, that "unusual" sound is what I really love about this record. Judging
from interviews that I read, I think that one of Eddie's goals for this
record was to input new and strange "twists", as you said, on the songs,
like those that he always put in his famous solos.

As of A Year To The Day, I think it contains one of the most fantastic
solos ever done by EVH. Really raw and emotional.

I agree with you about the vocals, especially on The One I Want. That one
is hard for me to get into. But I think what you're referring to is How
Many Say I, that is all sung by Eddie. Really weird. :)

I don't know if other people here agree with me, but I think his guitar
tone really changed from Balance (and even Best Of) to VH3. It's got much
more high-end (I like it, tho), maybe it's his new guitar, the Wolfgang...

Did you mean the "funk fingers". Tony uses them on the song called "People"
from the THRAK album, Talking Drum and maybe other songs as well.

You can see he plays them from the King Crimson - live in Japan 1995 video.

The Maritime Hall used to have the actual ticket but now they do not have
even if you buy it at the box office. I used to get the Maritime Hall
ticket at the Border Books and Music store at the Union Square (music
department). It's a very nice concert ticket with full colours. I picked up
my DT tix at the guitar center store and they gave me the reciept to show

What happened to trading for blanks and postage? Why would you go so far
as to actually sell a cdr of these tracks? For someone who has made a bit
of noise about Bahr selling officially released Rush stuff, it strikes me
as odd that you'd sell these tunes. I wish people would consider trading
for blanks more often... it helps people start a collection, and the real
goal of boots isn't to get as much as you can that other people don't
have... it's to get and spread some really cool material around. The only
really responsible way to do this, IMHO, is to make it as cheap and
    convenient as possible.=20

It seems that I have had my nest shitted in by offering to trade a CDR
    of FII demo's.
Before you start mouthing off you should have read the guys post
    properly.
He OFFERED ME $15 for a CDR.
Did I ask for $15 ?? and I also said only
if you have absolutely nothing to trade and I also don't recall agreeing
    to this
    either.

    krackley@weidmuller.com wrote:

I also object to being called a fucking 'Ytserobber', what a load of
    bullshit.
My original plan was to make a CDR of FII demo's for jammers who kept
    asking
about them, and I also said trade only, the guy offered me money, I
    didn't
except it, nor have I had further contact with the guy. This is a clear
case of you twisting words to suit your own needs.

I am far from a robber, just ask all the jammers, like Eckie, Luke,
    Insania
who I have sent CDR's to for FREE if I am a 'Ytserobber' ?

If you can make a CDR for $3 including postage that's your good luck, I
    can't
I don't live in the USA where CDR's are cheap and so widely available.

If you want to reply email me at
    icarus@sydney.net and NOT the jam

Ah, but you are incorrect. "That" is a pronoun, and the "'s" adds the
verb "is". The pronoun is the subject, and the verb is, well, the verb.
Thus, it is a complete sentence.

Graham, I was not attacking you personally, I was attacking anyone who
gets somewhat a guilty conscience reading my post, or to the guy who gets
all defensive about why he charges this or that. However since you got me
on a roll...you claim you aren't asking for money or anything...no instead
you're asking for "Trade" which still shows me that you are seeking some
kind of personal gain from doing your "Service." I wouldn't consider you
to be a "Ytserobber" just more like a "Ytsepawnbroker" which isn't all
bad...but it's still seeking a personal gain. Do what you like...I live to
please one person right now, and that's myself...and it pleases me to know
that I'm helping people in the most honest way I know how...if I could
afford to I'd just give the CD's away...but right now I have a Whopping

    if you're curious, there's a web site for them. i think it's www.papabear.com.

The word "Grammer" in the "Subject:" line should have been spelled

(Well, at least <www.m-w.com> doesn't list "grammer" as a variant

You weren't, seemed like you were to me, specially after the krackley guy offered $15....but let's put that down to pure coincidence :) Of course I am seeking gain with a trade, but the person who I trade with is also going to get a personal gain from the trade too, I can't see anything wrong with that ?

"I'll walk through your firestorm but never never crawl" Kansas 'Under the Knife'

-----Original Message----- A week or so ago I bought a used copy of Threshold's "Psychedelicatessen" through the Internet. It arrived, to my dismay, without any liner notes whatsoever. So I'm asking for a favor. Would someone with the above album please either scan the liner notes and send 'em to me electronically or make color photocopies and snail-mail them? I'll cover the costs of postage/copying/time spent/whathaveyou -- you can even have a CD or two from the below list. Please drop me a mail (hender@wam.umd.edu) if you're able to help me out. Thanks in advance.

I'm probably late for the 10 people you wanted, but if there's still room, I'll take a spot! I'd love to have that stuff on CD :)

    Thanks man,

Peace and love, and good happiness stuff, ~Vince
