Hey, to all my jammer friends... something came up and I'll have to go to Brazil to take care of some family issues, so I'm gonna be off the list for at least two months (I won't have internet access). So, to all my friends (you know who you are), keep well and stay alive until October, when I'll surely be back. Sorry to waste bandwidth with this but I'm leaving this weekend so I won't have time to talk to everybody.

    >=09Yesterday, i was hearing the RTB song....and made me wonder, who=20 >is and whats up with the rap guy of this song?

The rapper was the Notorious BIG and after recording Roll the Bones, he went on to obtain great fame. Soon, Pimp Daddy Peart felt that Bigs was getting too much action from his space and ordered his homies to bust a cap up his ass. Now, Big's sidekick Puff is on the loose, tearin' up the boards wit dat same ol' funky fresh, but Peart's incabable of putting him down at the moment. In time....

    >Where did Rush get this=20 >guy out from or whats the overall story on this song?

As for Roll the bones, it's a slang term for casting dice. In the song it means "take a chance." The origination of the terms stems from the cataclysmic struggle of breast implants in mamed hutu brides. The wututsi tribe had a habit of sacking hutu villiages and taking their women, piercing their breasts with two pieces of cubic bone material with runes carved into them tied together with string. They would then take the hutu women and thrown them off of a cliff. Then they'd race down to see what rune would come up after the fall. If the women lived, she was thrown over again in the next match. Eventually, the wututsis decided that throwing women over the cliff was somewhat cruel and thus opted to more humanely cut the breasts off. That was shortlived as well. Nowdays we just roll the bones free of any mammary tissues.

Next week, a nice refreshing summary of where the term "craps" came from.

    Your Welcome -- KorgX3

Yes, you're right. But that's just the first CD we're making (if we succeed in producing this CD, we'll make some others -- please, cross your fingers).

Look, I'm going through some really tough times, and my future is at a very high risk at this time. Sorry my emails bother you. I feel the #ytsejam and jam list members are incredibly arrogant and hurtful, especially when they pull this kind of thing where they assume a lot about someone from some stupid email or half-assed chat program. I am highly sarcastic and cynnical, and neither characteristic is easily tranferrable to an electronic interface. So perhaps half of what I say is meant to be said in an ironic manner, and not the way you perceive it at all. Most of the time, I'm laughing at myself, if you will. > > Honestly, you can hate me all you want, but posting hurtful things like this aren't going to make me change. In fact they'll just make me all the more cynnical. It's really not fair that you judge me and expect all others to listen and agree. It's not terribly nice, if youget my drift. Not that most jammers care about being nice. That's just one more reason I felt I should leave. The air in the jam has been most arrogant and spiteful of late, and it hurts me to see that fellow fans of a great band have such poor attitudes. > > I figured rather than post anymore, or read flame wars, it was time for me to leave. actually I dont personally know Erica nor chatted with her a lot but as far as I know her it seems that she is a interesting girl, I mean by reading her stuff I can tell she is kind of realistic (not that dragons exist but...) and very intelligent, I kind of like the way she is...anyway, my point is that you shouldnt say anything about other people...if you dont have anything good to say then shut up....when you are young other people's comments can hurt you bad....it's a shame you havent found the cool thing about her posts...and anyway, if she wants to leave the mailing list, let her be...sometimes this list is way boring, and that's the true. --- MP3 of the week - "That's What I'm Talking About" By Lisa Loeb, Dweezil and Ahmet Zappa http://www.geocities.com/CollegePark/2025/
