    As far as I know Nuno is *NOT* joining QR, I was the one who posted it
    here, and the fact that ig to to MuchMusic etc. might also be my fault
    (very likely so)

    all I want to say: I AM SORRY... I went too far with this, and I admit it,
    it all started out from one little sentence I said in #ytsejam... at least
    I have learned how fast and furiously rumours can spread.

    to everyone (and Gaz) I have offended etc. i want to say I am sorry once more.

            Yeah, I noticed that too... Also, when I talked to Mike Portnoy at one of
    the California shows, someone mentioned Kevin and he seemed like he really
    wanted him to show up at one of the gigs. I am sure that since they were all
    good friends at one time, they've gotten over the fact that he left the band
    (which I am sure had some emotional impact on them all) and now just would like
    to see their bud again and see what he is up to... (he's releasing Chroma Key
    in Europe so all of us in the States have to buy it as an import, that's what
    he's doing! hehe :^P

    I was wondering if anybody out there has any sound samples from a band called Arkhe. They're supposedly an Italian prog-metal band. I would like to hear something from them before I put my faith in some mail-order company. :> They aren't in any local music stores over here in VA. Thanks for anyone's help. I hope somebody gets s kick out of this...

    New DT

    Images & Words has gotten a bit boring After 5 years Awake has me snoring "Dream and Day" has gotten so old And all my boots are being resold "Seasons" and "Falling", I know 'em by heart Wish I had a new album to start

    That's alright, I'll be okay If I can last another day These old CDs Still sound just fine

    But I need some new DT I need to hear a new and stimulating CD With only old stuff, I don't think I could live This wait has gotten me hyperactive

    I just need some new DT I just need some new DT

    I've already cleared a spot on my shelf But I'm finding I can't entertain myself I know what I want It's only one thing Does anyone know If DT's recording? Soon, I hear, my dreams will come true If DT's releasing Metropolis II

    Then I'll have some new DT And I'll have another song that I can parody But I'll have to wait 'till then At which point I will start to whine again

    Just give me some new DT Just give me some new DT

    If I can wait, I'll be okay But it gets harder every day I'll wait for news Straight from the 'jam

    News about new DT It's the only thing to preserve my sanity Until I can finally see The thing for which I'd pay a monstrous fee

    I'm talking 'bout new DT I just need some new DT Just give me some new DT

    I saw MEGADETH on Howard Stern last night. Cool shit. Stern interviewed Alex and Eddie Van Halen first. It was completely obvious that Eddie was drunk or stoned. (I thought he was suppossed to be clean?). Anyways, Megadeth played one song from Cryptic Writings and there was about a 30 second interview with Mustaine.

    Also, a friend saw on MTV that Rob Halford has come out of the closet and admitted that he is gay.

    Hey gang,

    Well, it is not quite done, but I have put up the complete Fates Warning tour history on the web site (http://www.goodnet.com/~mkizer/fw/tourhist.htm)

    I still need to format it a bit, and I am planning on adding details about each particular show (venue, set list, reviews, etc.) I have most of this for the APSoG tour, but if anyone has any details on prior tours, please email them to me. But for now, have fun checking it out... -- ~Michael Kizer <mkizer@goodnet.com> <ICQ # 2070538> Home Page / AZ Concerts Mailing List - http://www.goodnet.com/~mkizer Fates Warning ~ Island In The Stream - http://www.goodnet.com/~mkizer/fw Dream Theater "Unofficial" Song Book - http://www.goodnet.com/~mkizer/dt ~Sola sapientia est qui me in merda posuit~

    Let's get something straight about Mr. Big, ya'll. As long as Japan exists, the members of Mr. Big will never be poor. The ratio of Mr. Big USA tours to Mr. Big Japan tours is about 1:3. (some of the more disgruntled American fans would argue it's actually 1:5.) When Mr. Big gets bored on the weekend, they tour Japan. If Mr. Big decides they haven't played a live show in a while and are getting restless to perform, they can either do a mini-tour around Los Angeles...or they can tour Japan. If it's raining and Paul Gilbert is feeling down in the dumps, he can draw happy pictures with crayons to cheer himself up, or he can call the other members of Mr. Big and TOUR JAPAN.

    With that kind of exposure and popularity, Mr. Big can maintain the fame, money, and power they had in this country when "To Be With You" was hitting radio stations and MTV so very long ago...

    Billy Sheehan said he wouldn't mind working with David Lee Roth on a new project, but saying that means Mr. Big is breaking up is like saying Dream Theater is breaking up because James LaBrie wants to go sing on a Queen tribute album. Billy Sheehan could be in four bands at once and it wouldn't stop him. Nothing can stop him.

    With that in mind, anyone know where I can order the "Hollow Years" single from? Worldwide CD had it, but like, they're sold out of it or something. Fuckin' sellouts...

    ** Things are kind of hectic now. Trying to juggle work, school, the FAQ, ** and my other hobbies isn't easy, but it's the type of thing you have to ** live with. :) There are only 41 shirts remaining, and I'd like to get ** them out to the Ytsejammers at large, and pay off some bills around ** here (not to mention place a monster order with The Laser's Edge).

    ** I need to do some paperwork and update my spreadsheet with the shirts ** sales so I can get this update and the page updated. There *are* only ** 41 XL shirts remaining, regardless of what the page says right now. ** The St. Louis address is correct, and will probably remain correct for ** another decade or so. :)

    * The Large shirts have officially sold out. There are 41 XL shirts left, * so get them while you can.

    * I attended two DT shows back in October and November, and met the * band. 4 out of five of them now have Ytsejam shirts (Myung was sick * when I met them, I didn't get to talk to -- I mean *at* -- him. :)

    I am no longer at Mizzou, I have transfered to UMSL. This means a new web site, new email address, and new mailing address and phone number.

    The XXXL, XXL, L, and M shirts are sold out.

    I did manage to make the money to make the final payment in time for the shirts. From this point on, the shirts will be going towards paying back my loan for the downpayment. Thanks again to everyone who has ordered, and all of you who plan to.

    I would just like to take this chance to thank everyone who has been so supportive of the shirts... It's nice to know that my work on this project is appriciated. And special thanks to Chris Hailey for the amazing artwork.

    ======== Web Page ========

    There is a web page online, complete with ordering instructions, facts and figures, comments on the shirts, actual scans directly off the shirts, a list of paid orders, and a mini FAQ. Check it out at:

    http://www.prognosis.com/gabbo/ in the Dream Theater section.

    I owe a million to Chris Ptacek for the web space, it means a lot.

    ======= Details =======

    The Ytsejam shirts are two sided prints. The front of the shirt features a *full color* raytraced graphic from Chris Hailey in Washington. The graphic is a beautifully done scene with the Majesty logo floating behind a group of marble columns on a tile floor with a wide view of space visible behind.

    The back of the shirt is in a solid light blue color. The majority of the design is a huge Majesty logo, framed by the Dream Theater title at the top, the mailing list address on the sides and "Ytsejam" at the bottom. Below that is "Internet Mailing List" between two more Majesty logos.

    The current lot of shirts is 217 (they printed up more than I asked for, but I'm not complaining). If those run out, and demand is high enough, I may run another with a slightly different design.

    You can check out all of the details, as well as a preview of the shirts at: http://www.prognosis.com/gabbo/ in the Dream Theater section.

    ======= Pricing =======

    The cost of the shirts is $16 each. The shirt is damn close to concert quality, so $16 is a steal (last Dream Theater concert I was at charged $23 for a shirt!). If you are picking the shirt up from me directly the $16 price stands. If you can't get the shirt in person, you can order one through the mail for $20 to cover shipping.

    I spoke with the people at the post office and I've decided to set the shipping prices outside the USA at $9, for a total of $25. I realize this is damn expensive for a tshirt, and I'm sorry. If individual prices are signifigantly less expensive, I will gladly return a check for the balance.

    The rundown: XL shirt, picked up: $16 XL shirt, mailed in the US: $20 XL shirt, mailed outside the US: $25

    ============ Availability ============

    ======== Ordering ========

    The shirts are open to mail ordering now. Mail orders will be shipped out every Wednesday via Priority Mail for US orders, and airmail for all others. Checks and money orders will be cashed before the order goes out, most likely on Monday. So far, mail orders have gone well, the only problem I have had has been with the bank, not the post office, so don't worry about your orders. All US orders are insured for the amount paid for the shirts and shipping, and insurance on airmail depends on the country and other aspects.

    To order, send a check or money order for the proper US dollar amount (see pricing above) to:

    Pat Griffin 6581 Bradley Ave <-- Note the change of address! St. Louis, MO 63139

    Make them payable to Pat Griffin, and remember this in US dollars.

    Be sure to include: Your name. Email address. Mailing address. Phone number. Quantity of shirts you want to order. The size of each. Whether this order is for pickup for mail order.

    I will keep you up to date on the status of the shirts through email.

    ============= Miscellaneous =============

    Remember that all the info can be found online at: http://www.prognosis.com/gabbo/ in the Dream Theater section.
