Yep i did say 'what is Keith Emerson doing these days' that's all :)
It obviously was a joke on my part, if KE joined DT 3 things would
happen:
A.The band would have to change their style for him to fit in.
B.DT would be looking for 4 other new members.
C.KE would be booted as soon as he tried to fit 'Fanfare For The
Common Man' into the every DT song :)

i haven't seen them since the their tour in `74 (brain salad surgery - if
my memory hasn't failed me). knew it was gonna be a great show right from
the start when Keith threw his tambourine high up into the air and it hung
on the horizontal bar of the large Pagoda that was right behind the drums.
it was one of the best parties... er... concerts that i attended that year.
:-)
was suppose to have caught their show in Little Rock this past summer (with
Jeff Beck); but, for some unknown reason it was cancelled.

Well, I dont own one so I wouldnt know...but im thinking more about
his lead sound. Maybe thats also a patch on the Trinity, but i
wouldnt know, and the point is i havent heard anybody use that sound
beside Derek. So whenever i hear that sound I'll think its the
'Derek sound'
On the other hand, all of Kevin;s sound sounded pretty standard.

While we're on the keyboards subject......
I think DS's (brief) keyboard solo on ACOS kinda rules (and should be 3
times as long).

I thought those were the ones going after Hanson.
As far as the Spice Girls go, may I quote Chris Rock from the MTV Video
Music Awards. "The Spice Girls are like heroin. Everyone's doing it,
but no one admits it!"
But, that being said, I have a confession to make.
I got the Spice Girls CD for christmas.
And I enjoy it.
Sure, "Wannabe" is cheesy as all hell,(I turn the volume down or either
skip that song altogether) and "Say You'll Be There" is obvious
commercial formula, but after that, the album actually sounds nice.
"Two Become One" is actually a rather nice love song(although no LSoaD,
to be sure) and "Mama" is rather enjoyable, too.
I actually think they could be progressive if one of their songs topped
8 minutes. :-)
There. You may take me outside of the city gates and stone me now.

This is no joke. I heard this before and I thought it was just another
hoax as it sounded absurd, but I checked it out and it's no joke. The FCC
really is considering allowing your local TELCO to charge you a per minute
surcharge of upwards of $3.50 an hour for connecting with your Internet
provider. I completely disagree with this and I urge you to put in your two
cents and let the FCC know that this in NOT OK. Email the FCC at
isp@fcc.gov and give them a piece of your mind. Check it out for yourself
at the FCC's own web site at http://www.fcc.gov/isp.html
Go one step further. This bill is being spear headed by no other than US
Sprint and supported by most TELCOs. If you are a Sprint Customer, I urge
you to switch to another communications provider and then call Sprint
customer service at 800-877-4646 and let them know why you are switching
and just how mad you are. Make Sprint pay where it hurts for even
suggesting such a thing.
If you are with Sprint for their dime a minute rate, then I suggest using
Telegroup at +1 (800) 338-0225. They have a 9.9 cent a minute rate 24 hours
a day and with no monthly service fee. Also their international rates are
the best I have found and with no fees and no minimums.
Again, the FCC web address is: http://www.fcc.gov/isp.html
And send your comments to: isp@fcc.gov
Fight back, don't let the communications fat cats take away our rights!
Sincerely,
Ilmar Saar
