Sure, I like to post witty comments about DT and try to be cool. Who
doesn't? But there are times when one has to forego that facade and just go

psychology. If I had posted an intellectual lecture people would have

Maybe it does unite jammers in some way, but if it does, it is a very SMALL
percentage of jammers. I mean, it's cool that jammers do find things in

please. There's no need for you guys to talk about what a stud Ronaldo is
here. Whenever I see the name Ronaldo it makes me think of a clown in a
yellow suit with big red shoes accompanied by a menagerie of strange beings
brought to life by a drug-influenced imagination.

Actually I've received private letters reflecting both. And of course I'm a
dick. I wouldn't be human otherwise, anyway...
My biggest reason for the protest is that I hate sports in general. The
whole principle that (at least in the US) our school's athletic programs
receive more funding than any educational programs really pisses me off.
Then people recommend athletes as role models? Most athletes get free rides
through school. They get bigger scholarships than anyone else could ever
hope for. They coast through college hoping a talent scout will pick them
up before they flunk a course and lose their ride. Either way, most never
complete their "education." Then they get caught doing drugs and catching
diseases from prostitutes. When they get out of prison/rehab they start
these big "Don't Do Drugs," "Practice Safe Sex," and "Get An Education"
campaigns to serve as their community service time and everything's supposed
to be OK again. Can you say "hypocrisy?" (You'd better be reaching for a
dictionary because I just got triple points for that word.) Would it be
wrong at this point for me to call bullshit? I think not.
And these guys are our kids' role-models when someone like Stephen Hawking
is unlocking the mysteries of the universe while confined to a wheelchair
because he's battling Lou Gherig's Disease. Raise your hand if you've even
heard of the guy. What? So few hands? Maybe it's just me, but I respect a
guy who can determine the integral of f(y)=2x and explain the results of the
resultant parabolic curve a little bit more than a guy who can run faster or
jump higher than me.
I'm sorry, but I was too late to catch the "I wanna be like Mike" bus 8
years ago and have been bitter ever since.

As long as it's at the end of a relevant DT or music related post it
wouldn't bother me at all. I've said that often enough. There are many
other places to discuss sports, so there is no reason why it should be done
here. If you don't like it, then it's up to Skadz to decide. If he decides
sports are OK, you won't hear another peep out of me. Unless he says
otherwise though, I'll be all over these sporty people like Michael Jackson
on a 4 year old until either it stops or I get bored of it. But, all of my
hateful flames will go through private mail from here on, and they will be
10 times more luminescent than before. If I get attacked on the jam,
however, you will be pissing napalm by the time I'm done with you, so, for
your own health, don't go there. :)

compliments the others.They perform with a degree of synchronicity that I
personally found to be unheard of prior to listening to them.An added bonus,

( Highroller), & wait patiently for Kim Stone's bass solo at the midpoint of

to the guy who asked, if you want to find out who's playing, go to
www.intelfest.com. they have a list- they're like 300 or so bands in about 20
clubs. chances are, unless you're reeeeally keen on the nyc scene, you may not
know a lot of these bands. it's still a worthwhile experience, i think.

not really one of my favourites, but I do like PaW.
