The Explorer's Club CD REALLY KICKS BUTT! I think it is even better than Liquid Tension experiment and even Black Light Syndrome. For your answer to the question on vocals....YES they are just GREAT! I think James doe ssuch an EXCELLENT job at the vocals. Very powerful, to the point and clean. Very much updated. The back ground harmonies sound like Vai's "sex and religion" harmonies. Infact the whole album crosses DT with Vai's work. It's new stuff man like in the true meaning of progressive. Yes, I was impressed with the brief chance I had to listen to the promo copy. Unfortunately, I am waiting for the REAl release.
