Well, here is part of a post to the Thoughts mailing list from Neal Morse
on February 26th:
"BEARD NEWS: Radiant is currently negotiating a distribution deal with Metal
Blade, which also handles bands like Fates Warning and Kings X. K of S should
be in the stores in America in early May. But don't worry, they're only making
us cover a couple of Black Sabbath tunes."
..and part of another post from Neal on April 20th:
"I don't know if you all know this but Radiant is about to be distributed by
Metal Blade. This means our records will be in the major American stores by
May 19! Pretty cool, huh? Anyway, to promote this new venture we've sent out
about 100 CDs (Kindness) to radio. Let me know what station your friend works
at and I'll see if it's on my list. It's looks to be mostly college stations
though."
That's all the "official" info I have... if you'd like more detail, you

next month touring with Eric Burdon, so it will be a while before he responds.

Saturday's show was unbelievable!
This was my second DT show. I got in the front row, dead center, but I eventually got pushed over to right in front of JP which was ok with me. The front row is awesome! From now on I will always try to get in the front row. I could really see JP's fingers dance around his guitar. I made eye contact with Mike several times. He's a monster! JM's fingers were speedy as usual. Derek was looking fashionable, and he was moving up and down those keyboards very quickly. James's voice was perfect. My earplugs worked very well. The sound was very clear. When the show started, everyone pushed forward, and I got squeezed. The setlist was great. They started with ACOS, then moved on to JLMB, Burning my Soul, and then Take the Time. Miked moved to another drum set at the front of the stage, and they played Anna Lee and Speak to Me. After that, MP tossed me a stick (thanks Mike) : ) They played Caught in a Web with an amazing drum solo by MP. JP's guitar solo was incredible, especially from up close. Derek's solo before Lines in the Sand was very groovy. Pull me Under and Peruvian Skies got a great crowd response. During JP's solo in Lie, MP and DS started tossing sticks to each other. Derek couldn't catch them (he should take lessons from me). Thoughout this Mike never missed a beat. Trial of Tears was awesome. JP ripped though the guitar solo. Derek's solo sounded much better than it does on FII. Then for the encore, They played Metropolis, Learning the Live, and more ACOS. During They middle of Metropolis, JP started doing another guitar solo. Mike and James went behind him, picked him up, and carried him across thhe stage while he was still playing! He then sat down on the floor and MP came up and shredded with him! After the show, I went out to where the tour bus was and got my stick signed by JP and JM. Then I went back inside and met Derek, James, and Mike. I got the stick MP gave me signed by the whole band! They are all really cool guys. This concert was the most fun I have ever had in my life (I'm only 16 years old though).

Did anyone catch the RealVideo Interview? It was very interesting. Derek got to show off his shoes on TV. Mike said there is going to be another live video out this year. He also said the next album is going to be recorded more like LTE - that is- they are going to write the songs in the studio and record them as they write rather than write everything then record. Derek is wierd but still cool : )

When me and Chris "Madsman" Ptacek were checking out one of Thoroughbred stores in Clearwater (here close to Tampa), we saw an Ibanez Universe BK in mint condition. It sounds great, and it's approved by Ptacek and KillMary :-) Their number is 813-725-8062 and I think they ship it if you want it (hell, they send those catalogs like Musician's Friend's so they should, right?).
Oh yeah, the price is 999 bux, but this guitar is in MINT condition. And I know how many of you want one and can't find it.
If anybody gets it please post about it, I wanna know who got it :-)

Ahh...I remember this place now. My friend told me that it's pretty dangerous around the Auditorium. I hope they will change the venue to Concord or some other places.

I did not mean to imply that you said the old show was in the archives. My point was the first show was not put in the archives (as some shows are not) because of the contract between DT and liveconcerts.com, at least the way I understand it. If the first one wasn't put in the archives I would bet there is a very good chance the second show will not be either. I hope I am wrong because within a week or so I will have a cable modem connection. Should get a nice stream off that!!

if it does show up in the archives, then maybe Bogie could re-record it correctly (i.e. completely)? I'd pay for that, as i can't get a very good stream, being on a 28.8.

You may or may not remember me (or give a shit in fact), but this is Dave the Uk Jammer back out of lurk mode. In fact it wasn't so much lurk mode as crap-Email-at-work-mode. I've just moved with my work from the UK to Birmingham, Alabama - which is why my Email now works properly and I can recieve the Jam again (oh joy). I won't rave too long, I just wanted to say hi - but I will mention 2 huge things that have happened since my Email problems (besides moving to the States). Firstly, I managed to see DT at the Forum in London, England back in December - and they were awsome. Secondly I bought a new drum kit last night - a Yamaha DS10 (that's a flash electronic one - FYI), and er... it rocks my world.

the black and green one? i like vai's music, but i never could stand all that lime green on his guitars. fine for him, but not for me.
so i bought two of the new RG 7 string models that came out last year and i like them a lot - they are kind of like a Petrucci model without Picasso graphics and with another string. different pickups but the same locking trem as the Universe, and no Vai green. i highly recommend them. they also run about $950 or less w/ case.
