But someone else said "Because of this kinda comments I love Ytsejam"!
Huh, welcome to Twilight Zone! :)

OK, after a long struggle in your mind you finally got it! Woohoo! Yes,
I was commenting in general, and none of my words were poining at you!

And yeah, I like your story about it, but there are still folks out
there who'll try to persuade us the opposite! :)

    > these things, because it's pure stealing and nothing more. Period.

    OK, we know all that!
But I was talking about the QUALITY of the bootlegs and purate CDs
    too!?!?!
Friend who worked in CDreapri shop said that pirate CDs destroy the
    laser after a while

But yesterady I got angry speaking with a friend on a phone about these
maters. HE said: "Get outta here? I never heard anyone's CDplayer dies
because of the Bulgarian pirate CDs!!! Get off my back, YOU tell me
what's better: You'll buy 3 CDs with 100$ and I'll buy 25 with the same
    money! SO?"

And most of the folks think having the money as a law to behave accoring
    it!

Personally, I prefer original ones, but it really hurts when you see
    Fire Garden for 2$! :(
SO, my question is: Is there any other reason for not buying pirate CDs
    except the moral side?

First of all, music is SUBJECTIVE, so a Top 5 is just OPENING yourself to get flamed. BUT, since we're on a Top 5 kick, here's mine: 5. Steve Howe (Just listen to Yessongs, "The Mouse" ROCKS!) 4. Tony Iomi (Less Is More personified, and he's missing part of a finger!) 3. Steve Vai (ALL feel, this guy is INCREDIBLE live!) 2. Stevie Ray Vaughan (Those who never saw him live missed out...) 1. Steve Morse (Best All Around player ever, IMHO, won the award 5 times in Guitar Player Magazine)

Honorable Mention: Jimi Hendrix - What else can you say? John Petrucci - Heir Apparent Al Dimeola - If it wasn't for him, where would Yngwie have gotten his chops from? Jeff Beck - If it wasn't for him, there wouldn't be a "Satch"

Dishonorable Mention: Kirk Hammett - This guy flat out SUX, and I'm a Metallica fan..... Jimmy Page - Sounds like a 2 year old with a broken arm Eddie Van Halen - A perfect case of what can happen when your head gets too big

The band that did the actual game music for Q2 was Sonic Mayhem. A little simplistic, but pretty cool. I think they have a few MP3s at [ http://www.sonicmayhem.com ]

    Hey all -

Just got my latest issue of Metal Maniacs, and there's a really cool article about Powermad 1998. Anyway, from what I understand, there was a promo compilation CD of Powermad bands for this year, and for last year as well. If anyone out there has either or both of these, could you do me a big favor and pass along the track lists of these, or at least direct me to a web page where I can find the info out? The article has me pumped up to hear a few of the bands that performed, and I remember some time ago, there was a review here on the Jam praising the same bands. If the track lists look good, I may be in the market for trading for/buying original copies of the 1997 and/or 1998 CD's, or at least maybe CDR copies. Anyway, if anyone can give me any info, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!!

    - Matt T.

Well, I'm sure that many of the people that attended Powermad would be interested in letting you know all about the CD, but I don't know of anyone that attended this year's show that has received their CD. I mean, the show was only in August, so you could see why almost four months later the CDs would still not be out. I mean, someone would actually have to put forth some sort of effort and actually put the CDs in the mail or something. That's a lot to ask.

Seriously, if I ever get a CD, I'll be reviewing it on Pixel Planet. There's a really long article about Powermad there if you're interested in reading it. Just go to www.pixelplanet.com and go to the Music page, and you'll find a link there.

I do believe it was Trent Reznor that did the music for Quake 1. I can only assume he did the same for Q2, but I'm not real sure. IF you do notice, there is a NIN logo on the boxes of nails for the nailguns in Quake 1.
