Sanity are a Swedish band that is playing music that is a mix
between progressive rock, heavy metal, neo-classical hardrock and
AOR. The band was founded in 1995 and this is their debut CD.
Black Sabbath and Dream Theater etc. influence them, but beside
these bands they are also reminiscent to Deep Purple, Lion's
    Share, Yngwie Malmsteen and Queensryche.

The singer Ola "Knuda" Wikstr=F6m is very good, but he has left the
band after the recording of this CD. I suppose it has to do with
the fact that he didn't pay his part of the money for this
recording. He's nowadays replaced by Rickard Bengtsson. The
guitarists is very good and the CD has a very good production for
    being a private release.

This is a good album that you might enjoy if you like the bands
mentioned in this review. But with so many Prog Metal bands around
today they've got a hard competition.

You can order the CD at Sanity's Website:

Just got off the QR message board,
John from Xanadu records (bootlegs) said he read at the Atlantic site that
QR's 12th track on Q2K is a cover of the 21-min opus Supper's Ready by
Genesis. He went on to explain that Geoff tate has always been a big Peter
Gabriel fan, and he has always wanted to cover a song by Genesis.
Sept 14th is the date! If you want to hear other songs off the new album,
tune into www.knac.com, they play a new one almost every hour!

I'm getting it out in the open so I won't be laughed at ;P Whoecer is going tonight, see ya there. :)

recommend trying to catch live whenever comes around. The effects he

Well geeezuuuus... if you had hung around the CDW for half a second, you
guys could have joined the little disappointed ytsegroup for lunch! If SB
makes it to the hall on time, they will most definitely rock. Their flight
is due in at 4:30pm, so we'll see. In any case, see you guys and everyone
else at the show! Hey, we could always go next door to the O'Farrell
Theater and toss back a few. ;o)
