Yep, the one and only. Like all of Peter Jackson's movies LOTR will be
filmed here in New Zealand. In fact, the main location is only about 40
    mins from where I live.

    Hey again folks...

Here's the latest update on the Live Prog Mp3 Server.

    Just added:

Dream Theater - Milwaukee 6/29/93 (Summerfest)
Liquid Tension Experiment - Bowery Ballroom, New York (1/21/99)
Savatage - Port Jefferson 9/19/98 (Acoustic! - Thanks to Blex!)

So here we go, the full list for the time being:

    Dream Theater - 6/29/93, 12/3/97, 5/9/98 (plus several misc live mp3 files)
    Liquid Tension - 1/21/99
    Pink Floyd - 2/28/80
    Queensryche - 12/6/90, 4/27/92 (Unplugged FULL SHOW), 4/29/95
    Rush - 10/25/76
    Savatage - 9/19/98
    Symphony-X - 6/23/98

As always, more to come. Take a look around on the site - all shows have a
"show_info.txt" file briefly describing the highlights/lowlights of the
    show and giving the setlist.

    REQUEST!

Uploads of live mp3'd shows are ALWAYS welcome. I've had a tight uploading
policy in the past to avoid people uploading stuff I'm not interested
in. People have written me saying they'd like to upload but all the prog
they have is Dream Theater and I've already got it. Here's some of what
I'd like to get outside of the prog realm, if anyone can help: Led
Zeppelin, Page/Plant, Pearl Jam, Live, Dave Matthews (only A quality for Dave).

I don't want any money (unlike some folks) or CDs or whatever for putting
this up on ftp, but I WOULD like to see some more uploads. I have a few
people downloading over 500 megs a day each (cablemodems kick ass), so
hopefully they can find something to give back to everyone. Take care, and
    enjoy!

If anyone is interested in getting a copy of the Japanese version of the HY
CD single or the Japanese version of Superior's Younique, let me know. THe
HY has the live cuts of BMS and AH/TKH. The Jap Younique has the extra
studio song as well as the different (and acoustic) version of "Why" with
Andre Matos of Angra helping on vocals.

The HY would probably go about $15 and the Younique would be about $25.
(The Yen is really friggin' strong now !!!!).

And, I still have that GREAT Jap Flower Kings CD for sale (w/ the Cinema
Show cover). The price is dropping ....... I am weak ....... Make an offer
    ....... :(

    Hello!
I was browsing through the discography on UACM, and on the former
members section there are two Fates Warning albums: Perfect Symmetry and
A Pleasant Shade of Gray. It says that Kevin Moore is playing on these
albums but not any specific songs he is playing. So I'm wondering if he
is the full time keyboardist on these albums or just a guest musician? I
haven't got any FW discs so I know nothing about their "keyboardist
    history".

is this cd out yet? from the clips it sounds awesome, and i definitely want
to get it. based on the clip on the webpage, CMYK's singer fuckin rocks :)
there are some, er, not so great tracks, but there are enough good ones to
grab my interest :) so where can we get it? and where can we find out more
about the bands that are on it? the tribute page should have links to all
    the bands' webpages. moo.

One of England's premier progressive metal bands have released a
limited edition Special fan club CD. Threshold was originally
formed in 1988 and have gained a lot of attention in the prog
metal genre. "Decadent" was released through the fan club to
celebrate and mark then years of the band. The CD contains radio
edits, re-mixes, re-masters, unplugged versions, Japanese bonus
tracks and different versions of their songs, and with this
release they're finally available to the fans.

Threshold are magnificent musicians and Keyboard player Richard
West is also known for being a member in the progressive rock band
Shadowland. The band have changed vocalist between every album but
    they've always been very good.

The highlights are "Intervention", "Sunseeker", the excellent
"Voyager II", "Devoted", "Change", the heavy "Mother Earth", the
10-minute "Into The Light" and "He Is I Am". "Paradox" from the
"Wounded Land" album have gone through a major change in the Club
Mix on this CD. It's now a heavy metal disco track! Fun!

It's rather strange that Threshold haven't got the real
breakthrough yet, because they deserve it. This is probably a
future rarity and a must have to the fans. The CD is available at
their WebPage: http://www.erotomania.org/threshold/. They are also
giving away a free promo copy of their 1994 CD
"Psychedelicatessen" with every order. So why hesitate? Order now!

Aye. KevMo supplied the keyboard playing to the song "At Fates Hands" on
the Perfect Symmetry album and all of the keyboards on the "A Pleasant Shade
of Gray" album. (Note: he did not play with them live, however)

Now, as to whether he wrote or contributed to the writing of these songs,
I've no clear idea. I've heard Fates' guitarist, Jim Matheos arranged them
all and KevMo was simply a hired gun to play them.

I'm too lazy to look and too daft to recall, but I think he was the keyboard
player on the instrumental version of "At Fates Hands" on their Chasing Time
(Best of) album titled "At Fates Fingers."

I highly recommend both albums, as well. :)
