I just purchased a used ADA MP-1. Don't laugh.....I like the way it sounds
and I think it will fit nicely in my Mesa Boogie Quad Preamp/Simu-Class 395
and Fender Twin Reverb II setup. The problem is there was no manual.
Would someone with a MP-1 be willing to copy the manual for me? I will pay
    for the copies and shipping.

    Thanks,

    Richard

      Oh well,
i just need to get this out of my system,
is it just me, or this cd just sucks!? Most of the songs ive heard
besides having bad singers, they plain just play the songs wrong! Its
simply horrendous! AFIL, PMU, MEt damn messed up tempos, and plain wrong
notes! I dont know, it may have been an honest effort and all, but IMO
this belongs on like a free promo disc with your order or something like
that on an online cd store... and well the thing about the 2nd cd with
the original songs, well we all know about those rumours regarding what
was said with Working man? well hows that ? i mean a double cd of bands
you wouldnt have bought otherwise, and only are getting because of DT's
name in their tribute, which sounds more like garage covers any
how...those of you who have seen Eleventh Hour/Images and words perform,
know how good and close to DT they sound. But most of these bands really
really (cant find a more appropriate word IMO) SUCK! And to those of
you who loved the female vocals well i tell you, go pick up some The
Gathering and Theatre of Tragedy, both Anekke and Liv Kristine are tons
more talented than the gwen stefani wanabe on You not me and the other
girl doing surrounded , which IMO sounds like a total amateur (ya
remember those high school girlfriends that loved to sing?) ... this
is all IMO but i think some of you will agree...i mean if some peopl e
consider magna carta half-assed.. wtf is this?!

Maybe you could help him instead? The least you could do is try, like I
did. And to make fun of someone else's mistakes is not only pathetic but
    also very unoriginal.

Symphony X's next album is going to be a concept album, according to Mike
Romeo. It is apparently almost complete, and will be, of course, hugely
epic :) The band also got a new bass player, as Thomas Miller left for
personal reasons. I got all this info from the official site, but I just
wanted to pass it along. Can't wait for the new one!

Two more "Paint It Black" coverers...

    - Glenn Tipton (Judas Priest axeman on his solo album "Baptizm of Fire") - Rick Wakeman (on the live album "Wakeman With Wakeman", featuring both him and his son)

Oh, and a certain ProGtologist wrote: >>I dunno about anyone else out there, but I'm planning on writing CDNow and >>giving 'em a piece of my mind. They should not have the option to preorder >Can you afford it? :)

Depends which piece I'm giving away. Longterm memory of pointless trivia, that's important, but the center of my brain that appreciates romantic comedies, *that* I hardly ever use...

I...have...an idea. There's all sorts of Internet auctions going right now, where anybody can sells any sort of crap they gots (including ridiculously overpriced bootlegs). Why not start a betting center? The Ebay of gambling. A person selects an event, sports being the obvious choice, then people send in their bets via credit card. The difference between this and traditional methods of gambling is that you can submit any sort of idea. Like whether Dream Theater's next album is going to be called "Metropolis II" or not (incidentally, I'm betting "yes" on that one -- mark me down), how many Backstreet Boys videos will be on in a given day of MTV, et cetera. If there's already a system like this in place, please don't tell me about it, because I'm enjoying my delusion of having an original, somewhat marketworthy thought.

I'm going to close with some sad news. Ricky Martin is playing the Spectrum in Philly in almost exactly two months. It is sold out. What's the world coming to?

No problem... Notice how "The Mirror" works in three ways in this quote? A real mirror, Steffen Barabasch (The Mirror fanzine), and Lisa Marie (The Mirror mailinglist)... And all three of them are telling you you're being an ass. ;-)

Not a flame, just an observation.

Hi everybody, there's been some enough talk about this artist to get me interested. Could someone provide me with information of his record(s?), meaning the name, record label, release year, stock number,... I'll need at least some of this info to try to order the cd(s), I think there's a very little chance of finding anything in ordinary record stores (in Finland). Also suggestions/descriptions of his work album-wise is appreciated. Thanks.

I tried. I really tried. I tried not to get involved, but this (and Korgy's awesome Swedish Chef imitation), just can't be left alone.

You know, I've found that people who sit there and say, "I'm more intelligent. I'm not arrogant. I'm not bragging. I *am* more intelligent." are usually the kinds of people who have to cover up some inadequacy, be it the fact that they aren't as intelligent as they think they are, or they have a small package, or they have a lot of back hair or something like that. So I wonder what you're covering up.

For what it's worth, man, you ARE holier than thou. You're arrogant. And that has no place on this jam.
