Ok, for those of you looking for more information into Telev=F8id, the
project from Scott Rockenfield and guitar player Paul Speer, go to the
official site - http://www.queensryche.com -, follow the link to
Resources and choose the Real Media section. Once you're in there, look
for a track called Hi Strung - this is a song off of Telev=F8id.

And once you're there, tell them KillMary sent you... to kill her.
That's all you have to do!

Oh, and about this AyamiYuki character. This must be some character
somebody is playing trying to piss people in here off. Nobody on earth
    could be that stupid.

    Christian.

hey, i had the same problem accessing DT's main page. but i did a search on
the web and found a good lists of sites for DT (www.ultranet.com) or
(www.ubl.com) and a chat room for DT called parachat i think. and the main
room on this site is called the Dream Room. check it out ! ( also..to chat ,
its required to have a nickname, your e mail address ( which will be hidden
from other users in parachat) and your full name ( first , im sure ) ).

    good luck,

ps/ the page is back, just that the servers were low on processing. i wish i

I want one too! Then I can play it on Ytseradio. That would be
cool. Yes, I'm one of the DJ's. I do three shows weekdays.
Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. EST.
If you read Brian "Coleridge" Hayden's post the other day and
deleted it, you can find out more about Ytseradio at -

I saw on UACM a snippet about James' solo cd that is
coming out. I think that's cool. More music to broadcast.
Hey, I wonder if Mark Bredius should get one of those
Rudess cd's, too. UACM is the official Dream Theater

That's it for now. Listen to Ytseradio. Later, G.

    Hi jammers!!

I am very happy you are talking about Brazilian guys. You have to check
out Vipers Theater of Fate/ Soldiers of Sunrise. They sound to me just
as classics of melodic Heavy metal. Classics such as Helloweens Keeper
of the seven keys 1 and 2.

Andre Matos is , IMHO, one good singer. Not the best, but still a good
one. His performance on Theatre of fate is very close to Angras Angels
Cry. On Soldiers of Sunrise he sings in a different way (still his
style) but still good. IMHO excelent for a 16 year old guy. The both cds
were re-released as one cd only by Paradoxx in France. In Brazil we have
the re-edition. I bought it this week. I had already purchased one vynil
    copy of Theatre of Fate.

    Gabriel
    Keep on Dreamin`

I don't know if it helps, but in the guitar official song book, many keyboard lines were tabbed for the guitar, but it doesn't mean that they were both played together on the song in the album.

Actually no, DS didn't use a synth on Take the Time, but Kevin Moore did. He was DT's original keyboardist. (I'm assuming you're a new fan- Welcome to the madness that is Ytseland!) As far as the solo, if you're talking about the part that I think you're talking about-(the intricate 16th note segment), then you are both right. It's both the guitar AND the synth playing together in unison with a few harmonized notes thrown in at the end. That's one of those solos that make me wanna pull my hair out when I try to play it, but they take it a step further by doubling it with keyboards! Or I suppose you could look at it as a KEYBOARD solo doubled by GUITAR. Whatever it is, it rules. Those musical bastards! Later guys and gals! -JK P.S.- Why does my Ytsejam sometimes come in a bright red color or some other color that makes it impossible to see the text? Just wondering. I recommend one Brazilian Nevermore fan site. This website design is also great. There're some sound files taken from the new album on this site, too.:

I can say their new album "Dreaming Neon Black" is their best album. Especially an intelligent singer Warrel's lyrics are amazing! This new album will come out on the 19th of this month in Europe, and on the 26th in the States from Century Media.

In this case though I keep going back and forth as to whether or not Mr Myung is using a pick, in certain parts, all the parts, or none. Come on you jammers help me out and put my mind at ease.

Not directly DT related, but I have an interesting problem with my 24 disc changer. I was trying some Cdr.'s I just burned (coaters BTW, 6 COASTERS!) and the machine got stuck. It displays M-Error. The manual says to unplug it, and reapply power. This did nothing. Restating did nothing. My 24 discs are trapped inside! I can coax it to play some, but they won't eject, and I can't load any more! I disassembled it, but can't find anything that would help me, other than smashing it open with a hammer. I might just have to do that, if I ever want to hear Rush, DT, QR, or Fates Warning again!

Hi there jammers, First of all Happy New Year to everybody (better late than ever). Second a very big thanks to Mike P. and everyone else that contributed to the excellent christmas CD. On friday i was complaining about not having arrived yet but when I got home that night I found it waiting for my greedy hands to get it.

As far as the Matos issue a must say that one must hear and see him in concert before drawing any conclusions. I have to admit that in Angra's latest CD "Fireworks" I do not like Matos performance in contrast to the previous CDs: "Angels Cry" and "Holy Land". It really annoys me (his voice). BUT: Yesterday I had the chance to see Angra live (for a second time) and I must say that Matos is a great frontman, has a great voice but has to learn to control it more (just like James has). The rest of the band were magnificent especially Kiko Loureiro (guitars) and Ricardo Confessori (drums). On the same concert Time Machine was performing as well. I have never heard them before and I have to say that I liked them but something was wrong. I don't know if it was the singer, the mixing of the sound, the arrangements of their songs, I don't quite know. Maybe its the songs that are not very easy to perform live. I have to listen to their CDs in order to get a much more clear view. Later, and remember Keep ytsejamming Mike Z. _________________________________________________________________________ "Derek,...Derek.... We 're not doing it" JKLB

Im not much of a bass player.. but im pretty sure Myung doesnt pick...ever..im not sure if he's picked some parts on albums for effect or something but at least live im pretty sure he never picks...

A little over a year ago I bought a set of high pitched Tama Octobans for about $670.00 from Washington Music (http://www.wmcworld.com/). That price included 4 new Octobans (figure around $135.00 per drum) and one Octoban stand ($130.00). I definitely wouldn't pay much more than that for them so don't try to special order them from your local drum shop because they will be quite a bit more pricey than $670.00. Call Washington Music and see what they'll do for you (1-301-946-8808). They'll ship them right to your door, so you'll also save money on the sales tax.
