valued, now everyone's a fucking sheep. I'm just glad to hell I'm not with

    > Or as my brother used to say "If you ain't got something nice to say, > SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

I'm getting tired of this now. It's all because of a fact that has to be compromised. You can't read a person from one e-mail, of course not. But if we went around like that, no-one would ever reply. But let me get this straight, you're doing exactly the same to me. You immediately assume I'm a dick, from one e-mail. I really doing have the time.

    > I can out code you drunk!

Do I give a shit? No, I'm going to just sit and wait for you to stereotype me again, when I say, I don't drink.

    > > Sorry for the excess posts all at once, I know they could have been one, but > > frankly I couldn't be bother to cut and paste. > > Because frankly I just spend too much time wanking off on how other people piss > me off so much, I just don't have anytime left for taking the time.

    You really have no idea.

    > > In a world which your mind controls, belief is reality. > > And there you have it folks, a control freak :)

Here he goes again, stereotyping, assuming my whole life from just one sentence, it seems you're naive enough to think it's that easy to know a person. Of course you're just going to blame me for doing the same. Did I ever said I knew what Jeremy was like? I was replying to the e-mail, I didn't even read his name.

You know what, I can't even be bothered to argue with you guys anymore, I can only reiterate the same truths. You think I'm narrow minded, I know I'm not, I think you're narrow minded, you probably know you're not, now let's all just shut the fuck up.

Logic boils down to cause and effect. Even emotion and art

Of course it is, but I was talking of straight scientific logic, rather than the broader philisophical logic. Yes, I agree but it depends on your dpeth of thinking. If an abstract artist did something completely abstract, is it logical? This is arguable. You could say it is because he was forced into escapism from early in life, and there's the cause and effect, but then the whole idea of abstract art is that it is abstract, without any particular cause and effect.

    > follow rules of logic. We just don't like to admit it most of the time for > selfish reasons. > > ~Chris

I have been working on this fact for ages, I have always been able to accept it. What people need to realise is that logic is a beautiful that takes many forms, not that boring thing that cuts emotion out of the picture.

You see, you probably will deny it, but you're becoming the very person that you critisize me of being. You took what he said, and you followed up just like one of those guys who takes it all too seriously. Me, I couldn't give a flying fuck. When I read it, I didn't even move from my chair, I was just appreciating it for its abstract conceptual value. If I thought for one moment it may be true, I'd have fucking moved away by now, and if it is, well, it is, but how the fuck should I know?

You are truly artless. For what reason he did it does not concern me, as I said before, I just appreciate it for its conceptual value.

Now your just being that, I've got a degree in Astronmomy, so I'm better than you guy again. Do you want to know how fucking hard it was trying to decide between Maths, Astrophysics and Software. I still think naturally towards Maths, and I'm still taking a path that leads me into space science.

Me neither, but sometimes it makes you realize things, not necessarily what they're saying is true, but the difference between what we're fed, and what really *is*. You cannot possibly ignore this.

Do want to know how frustrating it is to try and persuade someone that the music that they're fed on TV, is not the best out there, in fact, quite possibly the worst, and then get sweared at for being 'narrow minded', which ironically is exactly what thy're being. It's analogous to trying to tell someone not to do something that's going to kill them, and them just ignoring you, and there they walk right into it. You can't tell them that you told them so, because they're dead.

I think we're on the same side here, just at least listen to everybody's side. Closing your ears to anything is one of the roots of evil in this world.

And please don't try to slot me into a category of person. I have a habit of believing one thing, then people try to slot me, then I raise an opinion against that slot, and they just can't understand, I mean, what the fuck is that?

Robert A. Jurado asked : >In "Inspiration Corner" what's the CD after Roger Waters' "Amused >to Death"?

The one I think you're talking about is Radiohead - Ok Computer. Killer band, although a little alternative for this list, they do lean heavily on Pink Floyd IMHO.

I think thats Radiohead's OK Computer album. My bassist is into them, haven't really heard that much from them, but he say's they're very Pink Floydish.

    Hey,

I am visiting NYC from Sweden right now and thinking seriously about going to Woodstock for the weekend. Is there anyone else on this list going? And if so, is it possible to catch a ride? (I'll of course pay for gas) Or is there a good way to go there by train or bus or whatever? And finally, are there tickets left, and where would you purchase such tickets?

Glad for all possible help. I can be reached via rydstrom@rocketmail.com or phone +46-70 717 67 51. Otherwise I'll probably be at the Briann Setzer show tomorrow night.

Well, apparently, Xoom considers my webspace usage a violation of their terms of service because I have no html files on the website. I did this to keep all their crappy advertisements off my page. That explains why most of you are getting the xoom animated gif. I'm in the process of locating some free webspace somewhere else to host the files. if I cant find anywhere, then I (and you) will have to suffer with the crappy advertisements. later.

Great! A few hundred is no problem. We'll all be gone!! Yipeee! Let's throw a party at Brookhaven and guzzle some tequila and positrons!! :)

(Fascinating stuff.. the "minutes" figure was from the guy's letter in SciAm.. I had this mental picture of the pressure continously pushing new matter close to the singularity? No fucking way, that would be immoral, or faithless, or something, wouldn't it!?? :)

I got it from the Bible! Let's examplify with the above sentence:

gay => adj. 1. Showing or characterized by cheerfulness and lighthearted excitement; merry

"Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven ..." -- Luke 6:23

"In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit .. " -- Luke 10:21

"And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost." -- Luke 15:6

    pedophile => n. 1. A friend of children.

"But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God." -- Mark 10:14

hung => v. Past tense and a past participle of hang. hang => tr.v. 1. To fasten from above with no support from below; suspend. crucify => tr.v. 1. To put (a person) to death by hanging from a cross.

"Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst. " -- John 19:18

    Etc.

    > Funny . . . all these posts are making me wonder more about many of the > claims that everyone keeps bashing. Nobody seems to be bashing Buddha, > or Mohammed. Maybe there is something relevant about all of it after > all . . .

Well, followers of Buddha haven't exactly caused a lot of havoc in the western world. How many Buddhist crusades were there!? "Nobody expects the Buddhist inquisition?"

If you bash Mohammed chances are someone will put a nice, big price tag on your head! :)
