I'm going to throw-up!!!
Judging Queensryche as nazi's just because they have a derivative of the
word 'reich' in their name has got to be one of the dumbest things I've
ever seen. By judging a musical group by something as superficial as a
name and then labeling them as neo-nazis....you are in effect, no
different from a SS officer that looks at someone with dark hair and a
big nose and throws him on the freight train to Krakow. Or how about
this, you're an SS oficer and you throw someone on a train to Krakow
because he has a last name of Stein. You are judging someone or
something based on superficial things like apearance or a name. let me
tell you, one of my best friends has a last name of Stein and he's NOT
jewish. Same principle, only a little less serious....Unfortunately,
for you, it's just as ignorant!!!!!
I don't know your motives for stating something like this, but
regardless of your religious origins, you have no right to say something
like this. If your Jewish, by proving yourself as ignorant as you are,
it reduces your resolve to nothing. If you're not Jewish, it makes you
just as ignorant as the SS oficer. Do you understand how damaging it is
to label someone as a neo-nazi?? You need a little more proof
than..."Oh no, they have ryche in the name, they must be nazis!"

First thing: Seal blows. Actually, the only song I've heard from him
is the "Kiss from a Rose" on some soundtrack, so I guess I don't have
much exposure and don't plan to force myself to.
On Blind Gaurdian: They are _really_ marketing themselves through mp3.com,
aren't they? I've only downloaded 2 mp3's of them, and they aren't
metal/prog/anything like that (at least from what I've heard). And on "Lord
of the Rings" the guy sings with a lisp that gets on my nerves very fast.
But I'm still looking to purchase one of their albums, if I can find it for
less than 50 bucks.
On Angra: I just picked up Fireworks from arenamusic.com for $14 plus
S&H. This was an import on cdnow, so I think I got a good deal. I think
they have a few mp3's on mp3.com, but if not there are two tracks on my
lame-ass music page, www.csh.rit.edu/~davek/music.cgi . The album does kick
some ass.

And just a quick political lesson for these people. The Nazis were
the German socialist party. Socialism is politically LEFT, not right.
About the only thing the Nazis were to the right of were the
communists. :-)

I think you're onto something here. Perhaps you can interrogate the
band members personally. Electricity is often helpful in obtaining
confessions. Once we have verified their guilt, we can send them to
the guillotine!
Obviously, they haven't proven their "supposed" innocence. They have
fooled some of the people here, but not us! This can be just the
beginning! We must cleanse the world of these defectives! The time is
now! (Who were we trying to find again?)

Now Al, I understand that you're a serious stereophile, and you've even
building yourself some great speakers from scratch, and you won't bat an
eye when you say you have a $28,000,000 CD player and it has NO buttons
- it tells YOU when you'll listen -.... But i have to take issue with
your Acer plug.
Unless they have changed, a lot, since I last bought an acer open
soundcard several years ago, i must steer away any prospective acer
customers. My soundcard was defective, the software it came with was all
wrong, the manual was just pathetic - it was like, inkjet on colored
paper, stapled together - and the coup de grace, there was no support
whatsover.
Apparently, there is no central "acer" company that you can just call
and bitch at or get tech support from. They're nomads. And they won't
stand up for their crappy products. After days of hunting, i finally
found the guy who designed the card. But he had nothing helpful to say
to me, because he is incompetent.
So again, I don't wanna challenge you, Al, I just thought I would share
my experiences with Acer and why I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Greetings jammers... To respond to Daniel Beziz: You said it yourself...reich is German for "Empire". Queensryche -- The Queen's Empire....Oh, No...maybe their ...... British Sympathizers!!! Maybe they'd wished the American Revolution had turned out the other way....(no history lesson needed; i know Britain was ruled by a king then...my historical liberty just worked better ;-) ) Nevermind....and grow up!!! If you like their music, fine...buy more. If you are concerned that your giving your money to a record company who will, in turn, give a little bit of it to a band of Nazi supporters, fine...don't buy any more and forget about all of their music you have liked in the past. Then, do some research on your -- that way you won't have to rely on any of our opinions. Music is an art form. Form your own interpretations about it and its creators. Don't go around trying to start trouble about what you think you find.

According to an interview with Dream Theater (Derek and John M) from Hard RoxX January 1998 (by Nikki Brooks) which can be found on the official Dream Theater website (www.dreamtheater.net) Desmond Child only helped write a little of the chorus of You Not Me and the band would not be repeating the experience of working with him .........
