    Hello everybody!

I recently discovered that on a Hungarian Tv channel, SZIV TV, you can vote for Dream Theater's 'Hollow Years' video. Please help to get DT some airplay here in Hungary! The URL is:

    www.musicbox.hu

Click on 'KERES' at the bottom _right_ corner of the page, and then enter the number of the video: 187

The votes will only be accepted from 2pm to 6am CET (that's 1pm to 5am universal time). You can vote as often as you want, but you are not allowed to automatize the voting process with special devices (at least so they write in the disclaimer).

Thanks in advance, and keep on jammin'!

    Andras

I bet this question has already been asked and answered in the FAQ, but what the hay... have you noticed that James mixes up the lyrics in Metropolis Part I on LatM? Where he's supposed to sing "just keep my heart in your eyes" he sings "just keep YOUR heart in MY eyes"...So i guess that even JLB makes human mistakes. Just thought that I'd share my own personal discovery with you guys...which, I guess, ruins the "my own personal"-thing... Well, that's it.

    Take care now, bye-bye then

"First album is fantastic. Almost a direct cross between Rush and Watchtower. I eagerly awaited Images and Words ... even managed to get a copy in the UK before the UK release. I was *very* disappointed. There are some really terrible MTV tracks and I threw my CD away in disgust (honestly). They have, if only partially for now, sold out big time. This is ironic given how the first album was dedicated to a warning about selling out! "

I'm not sure about MP3s, but you can get the CD from http://www.moremetal.com (formerly Knights of the Round). I got mine for $12.99 -- NO SHIPPING CHARGES! 'Course it took them 6 weeks to get it to me, but they said the CDs were backordered from Europe. (Which is true, they only distribute the CDs in Europe. Us US folks have to get them as imports, even tho. they're from San Antonio, TX!) Maybe they ordered enough supply for ya?

Oh yeah, they're supposed to be playing that same club in San Antonio again soon. And I'm still listening to the CD, so I don't have a proper opinion yet. :)

Final thought, anyone know why everyone's email is being directed to ytsejam@axnet.net instead of ytsejam@ax.com?

Really final thought, EVERYONE give me a hand on this radio stations thing, please. :) http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Set/5039.

Yah, but backordering happens... Basically all of my imports I order are from those guys. They stock a crapload of stuff as I generally get my orders within a week of sending it out. As I remember I ordered Power of Omens, Enchant's Break and the first Savior Machine album from them, they all came in less than two weeks (postal order) and all packaged together. Also, their prices seem to be the best of any. Most CD's are less than $20 (I remember seing Stratovarius CD's on sale there for $9.99 once) and shipping prices are $3 for the first 3 CD's or something like that. Very good service. The way I harp about them you'd think I get paid for saying this, but I don't. Really. Nothing. Well. I got an autographed Superior photo, but, well...

[Walrus snot, no. However, I've heard that Whale Intestinal Fluid does [wonders in keeping a trombone slide well greased.

[Lucifer's Friend's first album was actually released in '73, but Al was [close enough. I found a copy of _Where Groupies Killed the Blues_ as an [import in my local Tower several months back. As I recognized the name of [the group from reading the liner notes of Uriah Heep's Innocent Victim [(John Lawton was in both groups), I picked it up, and have been searching

I reiterate: It's "Lucifer's Friend," it's not plural. (according to the album label) Get this: The album I have is recorded in quadraphonic! It is on the Billingsgate label. What's really funny is the album label itself, I will quote it as I read the label: "Practiced fluency and variety of profane and obscene abuse. i.e. Asskickin" Unfortunately, there is no date whatsoever. I was sure is was pre 1973. We are talking about the same band, Lawton is in the credits. -- Al - The Ytse-ProGtologist ^ Switchcraft Microsystems ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "It's supposed to pack an awesome buzz" --Butthead
