I'm still playing catch up in the game of LIFE. Still no money, no
women, but I'm busting ass for that college degree, and I had to put the
Dream Theater majesty symbol on the spinner with a magic marker just
because. At least I have my ytsejam email.
And with that, I segue into a definition...
A Freudian slip is when you mean one thing, and you say your mother, and
what I did was intently replaced and omitted certain letters in my last
post. I do know how to spel, pepul!
I'm typing this and watching True Stories from the Canadian Mounted
Patrol and thinking...if the US banned guns, we'd be like the
Canadians...
..then I think...that means I could live next to girls that look like
Shania Twain....
.but her brother would be Tom Green. I don't want that.
But I'm not going to give an opinion because I don't think for myself, I
listen to Dream Theater because MENSA tells me to. I don't pay them $50
a year for a subscription to a magazine that panders to my elite
subculture who can comprehend the physics of pogo balls.
;^P
I just purchased my first Drain STH album, "Freaks of Nature," along
with the long overdue purchase of the Top Gun soundtrack. I must say,
Kitty doesn't hold a candle to these Swedish bombshells. In fact, I
sorta want to relocate to Sweden. I love Sweden....
Oh yeah, the music rocks hard too, heheheh. Just the right amount of
cynical debauchery of love lyricism mixed with a good serving of ballsy
guitars turned all the way up. I loike it aw lot!
And Top Gun...well, fuck man...it's Top Gun! :)
Kenny Loggins and Cheap Trick rule!
Otis Redding is the man!
Don't buy the Back to the Future II soundtrack, the original movie
soundtrack blows it out of the water thus sinking the proverbial
battleship. I dunno what Alan Silvestri was thinking, just blowing past
the dynamic buildups of the thematic overture and going straight to the
main melody line.... BAD COMPOSER! BAD COMPOSER! *thwap* Please do
bore us, don't get to the chorus!
Now for your moment of Zen:
Have you ever wondered what Darth Vader's breathing would sound like if
one of his croonies walked in on him while he was masturbating?

actually MITRE has a large campus nearby, so it's more likely brain damage as
a result of all the high power RF towers and secret research going on there
that affects the people driving by each day. ^_^ <-- you forgot to ;)
if you want to assign blame, blame the white-collar , high technology, political
industrial complex. yes, blame technology. blame the internet. in fact, it's our
fault, we're the ones always screaming MORE, GIMME MORE technology. and then,
all those missing a chromosome - you know the ones that Andrew has decided need
to be neutered - feel left out of the loop, cuz they can't deal. the world has
left them behind and they struggle to come to grips with their inadequacies.
they can't deal, but they need to feel wanted. it's all about attention.
and control. they've lost control over their own shit, so somehow - prolly
that missing chromosome, right Andrew? ;) - they've come to the conclusion that
taking control over someone else gives them back that which they lost.
so....in the final analysis, the original hypthosis that Gates is the Anit-
Christ now has a couple of new datapoints to consider...

firstly, my congrats to Korgie, what a flame war he's brought us all upon...
..but it does make the jam far a more interesting read than ever since
SFAM was released, heh heh...
I'd like to share this with you. In Jakarta, Indonesia where I spent my
highschool days (geez, that's more than ten years ago...), for the last
fifteen tears or so we've been having this thing called 'tawuran'. The
word means wars between highschools, and it's getting worse each year to
the point where it happens every shoolday and between any highschools in Jakarta.
That Indonesians are not allowed to own or carry guns only makes it
harder to kill more people in less time. Hundreds have died and they're
not restricted to the warring students only. The weapons used in a
'tawuran' includes knives, machettes, Japanese swords, cutter blades
(you know, the ones used in offices to cut paper), woodsaw, wooden
spears, screwdrivers, and just about anything one could use to impale
another, like a fucking pencil or a ballpoint pen! Sometimes molotov
bombs are used too. The war usually takes place on a crowded street,
injuring many other people. Even the police and the army are afraid to
stop these kids, not after shooting or killing one or two OTHER students
which usually were unlucky passerbys not even involved with the fight.
..so guns don't matter here, people! And gangwars in American cities?
Woohoo, that's nothing! I'd like to see them try to survive here in
Jakarta, because I've only told you about the student wars here, NOT the
GANGWARS, bwahahahahahah!!!!

Now I'm a great believer in the power of stupid people (it makes the world turn), but with the way this is continuing, either someone is managing to subscribe lots of people without their knowing, or someone is playing a joke on the whole list.

Hi all
received an e-mail from my CD dealer yesterday, inviting me to drop by (http://www.ulismusic.de) for a few bottles of cold Pfungstaedter Pils and to listen to some new albums. Result: Neil is now DM 160 poorer, and my CD collection is 5 CDs richer.
The new stuff includes the following:, all of which I can recommend:
DARKSEED - Diving Into Darkness THE MEN OF PORN - American Style QOPH - Kalejdoskopiska Aktiviteter SIEBENBUERGEN - Delictum
Reviews will hopefully be coming at the weekend, but let me say now, that the Darkseed is a killer - imagine Amorphis and old Paradise Lost, old Moonspell and old Tiamat mixed together with healthy doses of Sentenced and Dark Tranquillity throw in. This is sure to be in my top 10 of the year.
And for the ultimate words on patriotism, go and listen to the Bill Hick's sketch "A New Flag" on the album "Rant In E Minor" - this guy said it all.
stay safe and happy listening Neil Gallop (neil.gallop@softwareag.com) Currently playing: SMASHING PUMPKINS - Machina

Your basic structure of law hasn't been updated in that long, because selfish idiots like the NRA think they have rights - well NEWSFLASH: not any more you don't.
Rule #1 of effective arguing: only argue with people when you think that they are wrong, NOT when you know that they're right but you don't like that fact. You'll win more frequently if you follow that maxim.

I hate to break this to you, but if he lives, he will NOT become a reformed, upstanding member of the community. He'll still be an evil little shit, and in his case, all the help he needs is a stool to reach the noose.
>How about a trial, should we allow that?? >How about the over 80 people who have been >released from death row because they were >later proven innocent?
In this case, no there shouldn't! What a waste of time and money - the little thug did it, in full view of everyone. That he did it is not disputed by anyone. So string him up, as a warning to everyone else.

Good, I wasn't accusing you personally of not voting, hence the question. If you answer yes, you have the right to complain. I just turned 19 and am currently researching candidates. I want to complain too.

..Umm, well, unless he's Kevin Moore. I don't see why us guitarists feel we have the god-given constitutional right to be the loudest in the band mix. I prefer the be a little lower, to give the keys more room if they're doing something more interesting than what I am.
>and said that is cool too because even if you >can't hear him he wrote so many of the riffs >that it is basically like him playing anyway.
One thing I noticed from LTE was that Jordan - like Derek, really - writes a lot of riffs that are more guitar-y than traditional keys riffs. Anyone got any pointers or insights to which riffs are whos?

But the thing is Korgie, if they're using badly built guns, the odds are that the damn things will misfire and kill the user, or at least injure less people than if the perp was using a "real" gun.

I couldn't agree more. Democracy is a pathetic sham, and I've been saying for a long time that we should stop being such an immature bunch of children, and just accept that it doesn't work. It's human nature. In Britain, for example, we should immediately reverse the roles of the two chambers, and limit terms in the Commons to four years in each person's life - make it lke jury duty, never mind this elective crap. What's the point in a people's chamber if it's full of career politicians?! Leave givernment to the people woh know what they're doing - not left at the mercy of public opinion, which is - in almost every case - suprememly and necessarily uninformed.
