Don't even get me started about having the most
expensive instruments, drums are by far. I have three
bass drums, 11 toms, 3 snare drums, 18 cymbals, and a
few extra things. To replace drumheads on that would
cost atleast 600 dollars, if not more. Then there are
drum sticks, broken cymbals, then all the extra
cymbals and stuff that most drummers like to add on to
their set. In my experience, drums are the most
expensive.
Here is a band name that is kind of gross, but it is
catchy, BLOODY TAMPON. Talk to you all later.

Yes, with the difference that in classical, when the melody goes down it
plays the B instead of Bb.

Not all drummers play three bass drums, 11 toms, 3 snare drums, 18

Hell, I figured nobody would know what the hell I was talking about if I said "Kagaku Ninja Tai Gatchaman" and "Space Battleship Yamato". (then again, how many space battleships did you see on TV during the mid-80s? Wait, there was Captain Harlock too. Okay, I'm justified in my fears). :)
As far as band names go, I always thought it would be cool to be named "To Be Announced". "Who's playing tonight?" "To Be Announced".

The difference is that in one he's got a rock band backing him up, and in the other, he's got the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. I've got the classical one and I love it. Though I've never heard the rock version, I'm guessing that it wouldn't sound much different from his other instrumental stuff. The composition for the symphonic scores was actually done very well, not like Metallica's S&M disc where the symphony doubles their guitar riffs. I would recommend buying the orchestral version.

Normally, I'd go with an ESP (including the LTD series) over an Ibanez any day of the week, but I'd definitely go with the JPM in this case (especially the camo one). It's just a better feeling and sturdier guitar - trust me - I've owned both... :)
The only other Ibanez I'd take over an ESP is the Jem...
I did enjoy the M-III's versatility (the single coil pickup adds options), but I replaced the pickups on the JPM with EMG-89's (dual mode) so I could get that single coil sound (EMG-SA) as well as the classic EMG-85 sound. This was pretty much just icing on the cake, however, because the JPM is simply a superior guitar... :)

Oh come on, what do singers have to buy? A microphone? PLEEEEASE! Metal guitarists are superior to every other musician on the block because of the sole fact that we spend the most money on gear than any of the rest of yas!
Metal guitarists can't possibly have to spend more money than upright bassists. We spend $100+ on ONE SET OF STRINGS. And that thing falls apart/needs to be uprgaded more than any other instrument I know of...and don't get me started on bows and amps and gigbags............HAHAHAHAHA WE ARE SUPERIOR POOR BASTARDS
And to whoever asked, I picked up Transatlantic yesterday, and I think it sounds a lot like Spock's beard. I thought it was pretty good, overall, but I've only given it one listen so far soe I guess I'll see...

My frank suggestion is that RoR is either twee (if you're a prog fan) or just silly (if you haven't heard The Mirror). On the otehr hand, just drop the last two words, Mark! "Reflections" (or indeed, just "Reflection") is quite a cool name.

You'll prefer ChromaKey. I love LTE, but KevMo's stuff just blows me away. And - "prog" connotations aside - it's a hell of a lot more progressive than anything DT has done in five years. Before making another Floyd record, David Gilmour should listen to DAfR and contemplate that someone else has beaten him to it.
