Thanks for the help...let me know when you want

STILL someone wondering about this ?? I know,
everytime I go to a DT concert most of the
audience is guys in their 20's, but I think
I'm seeing more women coming to see DT each
year/whenever. I wish I could talk more sense
to all the females out there, but most of them
have been brainwashed by the radio/mass and
"oh I gotta be like everyone else"..brainless
people !

All my friends found them quite boring, maybe because
they had never heard the band before and because their
music isn't as complicated as DT's so it didn't work
for them. And I gotta tell you, when they played that
one part it reminded me of Ricky Martin's music
and made me and my friend laugh...but I do like some
of SB's music myself, too bad some people never learn
to keep their mouth shut if they don't know anything
about the band or music either.

Not unless you could prove that a. fat content is addictive, and b. that
they upped the fat content in the food way beyond it's normal level WITH THE
EXPRESS OF PURPOSE OF GETTING PEOPLE ADDICTED. That is the real issue of
what the tobacco companies did. The stuff they put in to help up the
nicotine content also is the source of most of the carcinogens as well, I
believe. SOOOO the cancer is a direct result of their meddling.

The real problem is that Battlefield Earth will be a vehicle for

Neither was MI:2. When the idea for a MI movie was first pitched, Cruise
(who is basically executive in charge of the whole franchise) said he wanted
to do a series of films where highly stylistic directors (Depalma, Woo)
could each make their own imprint on what they thought Mission Impossible to
be. On set, Cruise told Woo to forget everything that happened in the first
movie. Basically the franchise will be redefining itself each time out.
Personally, I think it's a cool idea. Know your stuff.

There's "Still" by The Commodores which "remains" a staple of

And I've always thought there (not they're, uh, sorry Korg) should be a
bonus track with Mike bitching about something, say, sloppy playing, and
calling it Portnoy's Complaint.

I would have to say my favorite section is the beginning of lines in the
sand, after Jordan's intro from when Mike starts drumming until the verses
start it. John Myung's bass is absolutely incredible in there.

I think the "Since this time Kevin has claimed the songs as
his own and seemed to have forgotten who did what." part in
Rich's biography is based on him not getting credit for his
work on the "Music Meant To Be Heard" tape... However, this
was not a commercial release, but a tape tree by fans...
If you check the liner notes of Kevin Moore's CD "This Is A
Recording", you will notice Rich got credit for his work on
the demos. Maybe it is time Mr. Kern updated his biography.

Hm. I think it might be cool if John Woo directed a
James Bond flick, but I've not seen anything from M:I2
that has made me want to see it, except for John Woo's
trademark (and over the top) totally impossible action
stunts. Hollywood must love that guy. I'll take
American Beauty over basically any action flick any day.

Are you sure?! If so, i would be greatly dissapointed! That section right
there is brilliant IMO
I was really amazed to see that SB could capture a sound so close to actual
spanish music or flamenco (im using the term flamenco lightly) . Much better
than other examples..say like Another dimension (blech that accordion sound
with the reggae like guitar behind it , although JP's acoustic solo that
follows is awesome) ..

With all this talk about "The Matrix", I would also
highly recommend seeing "Dark City" (if you haven't
already). It came out a year before The Matrix. It's a
fast paced movie, with a similar plot to The Matrix,
but slightly more complex.

And I suppose the woman had NO CLUE that cigarettes both 1.) were
addictive and 2.) caused cancer. It says right on the cigarette packs
that the smokes cause cancer. What right would she have to sue?
Also, the reason cigarettes are so addictive is because they have a more
potent, more addictive form of nicotine sprayed on the leaves AFTER the
natural nicotine present in tobacco is stripped off. This process is not
done to (quality) cigars, and yet these cause cancer, also. It is not so
much a direct result of the nicotinizing(?) process. Marijuana, for
example, has 10 times the tar content of cigarette tobacco, and is
therefore ten times as likely to give you cancer. The only difference is
that people smoke far more cigarettes than joints (in most cases).
Mary Jane, though, is not *physically* addictive, so there is no real
correlation between addictiveness (?) and cancer, save that the people
addicted to cigarettes smoke too much and get cancer as a result.
/me knows too much about tobacco for his own good and smokes anyway. What
a waste of tax dollars.
