I've got a boot a couple of weeks ago that IMO is perhaps the best
and most complete DT boot I've ever heard, for both sound quality
and band performance (James voice in particular).

DT's performance at Helsinki Finland from 24th March 2000.
The source is undoubtabily soundboard and IMO has a better
sound than the 'Once In A Lifetime' live set.
    Yes it's that good.
Unfortuneatly the first 3 mins of the recording, the sound is only
from the right hand side. That aside the boot is perfect.

Does anyone have a copy of this show that dosen't have the glitch
during the first few minutes ?

I am looking for a non mp3 source Orlando show, if anyone can
    help ?

Nope that would be New Zealand :)

Anyway Scots are too tight (cheapskates) to fuck. Their too tight too buy condoms. If they don't use condoms it means the chance of getting a woman pregnant and more expense of bringing up a child. That's why Scots don't fuck :)

Yea!! More Tesla fans. The best thing about these guys is that they are out to have fun. Just good 'ole no frills rock 'n roll. Nothing fancy, just good fun music. Also one of my first rock shows that I saw. What a blast.

BTW - you missed a band member. Frank Hannon is in a band called MoonDog Mane. This is a definate must own. Just like Tesla, no frills, just good old fashioned rock. It has some southern/bluesy feel to it. Reminds me of Kenny Wayne, but more fun. It is a superb disc to cruise to on a nice summer day, with the windows down feeling the wind...

Bar 7 - huh? What happened to Sofa King? That was the original name. Was it taken or something? They even had a cool Flash web site to promote themselves. They never released an album but they had various clips on the site.

SoulMotor - Very good solid rock CD. Recommend as well.

lastly - a friend mentioned a band called Rocket Scientists. Anyone heard of them? Any info? He said they are prog. Just curious.

I notice there are two plastic gaskets on the bar itself, on the part that goes inside the bridge - could those be be worn down and be the cause? -Dan

DAN, Replace the two nylon washers on the whammy bar. The have worn down. In case you have a hard time finding replacements (I don't know where you live) try this trick:

    http://www.jemsite.com/tech/t_3other.htm#tremarmrot

If that doesn't work, try running a lighter over the washers 'quickly'. This will make the washers slightly irregular and fit in the arm cavity more snug than normal.

    I hope that helps!

First I laughed, because this had to be a joke. It wasn't terribly original, but I hadn't seen it in a while. Then I saw the response and thought "Wow... I don't have to judge his musical ability to decide for myself that this guy sis a fuckin' TOOL" and now, I'm hoping against hope that maybe he's not an ass... maybe English is his second (of 13 probably) language and he just doesn't possess the grammatical command to express what he's trying to say... so maybe he went over the top accidentally. Oh wait... no. That hope has passed. Ricardo: please provide some MP3s of your music. I will even host them for you if you can't figure out how to put something up at one of the free sites. This is your chance to back up your statement. I'm quite certain that with 4 cds (how many cds do the Backstreet Boys have out?) you have to have at least one of them yourself. :) Make us some MP3s and show us how "talented in ALL musical instruments" you are. Then again, maybe this IS a joke. Then I've been had! Hahaha!

Try copying on brand media. No-Name-Media are known for causing various problems. << Joke? I'm sorry, but I do not joke around when it comes to music. Who are you calling an idiot!!???!? Just because I am musically trained? I started playing music when I was 6 years old with the violin. Then by 8, I picked up the cello & the guitar. By the time I was 12, I could play nearly any string instrument out there. So I started to learn the drums and I, also, started to take opera lessons. I did not pick up the piano until I was 17, but by then, it was pretty easy to learn. So, Andreas, you could think this is a joke, you could think whatever you want. But, at least, I know I am not. You could pick up any my 4 CDs that are out there. They are kind of hard to find, since they are very limited. My personal favorite CD is my first release (1991) "Coles". Well, take care. Ciao. :) >> Now that you've taken all that time to work on your music, why dont you work on getting some manners and learn to act like a decent human being??? Just curious.... Regards, Ultraking

I just got mine Los Lobotomys CD some month ago, thru a Japanese friend. Freaking 28$! ;( But I read/was told that these releases are only available on Japanese labels only.

And Greg Mathiason Project - Baked Potato Super Live, which is almost same line-up, ... I even think it counts as LL album. GREAT gig and playing.

And don't plan trading them ever. :)

Digital, ... was that a good review on Ice Cycles? :( Man, .. I am the only jammer who thinks that Ice Cycles sucks big time compared to When Pus Comes to Shove? All the funk is gone, groove is gone, ... just some average ballads and grunge songs IMHO. :(

I haven't received it either. What a waste of money. I haven't gotten any newsletters or anything since signing up. The fan club is probably only run by one or two people. There's too much demand I suppose for only a few people to handle. I guess it's like the Bahr ordeal.

Before you opened your big mouth on this list bitching about the FC maybe you should have used your obvious tiny brain. Perhaps instead of trying to embarass and shame the FC, you could have sent a polite email to them to ask about any delays.

There are no newsletters, you get 4 quality colour magazines each each, even someone as stupid as you can work out that adds up to a magazine every 3 months. One is possibily overdue right now, but I don't see anyone else here bitching.

I've been a member since 1995 and have found it great value for money, even without the xmas CD.

    Grow up
