Neal used to be Emma in a previous life. Apparently she was murdered by
Ryo Okumoto in one of his many previous lives.

Those of you in Digest mode will not get any 'Jams until a certain amount of letters get submitted TO the 'Jam.. When those 10 or 15 letters get sent in, then a Digest is created and mailed out..

Those of us in single-message mode receive the messages submitted to the 'Jam immediately and our flow of letters isn't halted by the waiting pond.

It's just slow right now on the 'Jam but it should pick up... it always does.. I've been on here since 'Jam # 700. It's been slower this week most likely because of the Holiday (Labor Day). People were out of town, out of pocket, etc..

It's not a font, it's a design. As much as I would love to have the lettering for that design, it's just not possible to reproduce (look at the A in "Dream" and then the A in "Theater" and you'll see that they're two different letter designs).

    > Are there any die-cut majesty symbols or Dream Theater stickers > available? And again, if so , where are they?

As a matter of fact, if you head to this URL:

    http://www.mikeportnoy.com/ubb/NonCGI/Forum2/HTML/000774.html

you can read up on how to get a Majesty symbol car sticker for FREE. It isn't ready to happen just yet, but keep on the lookout for it!

    > Thanks! Any ideas on when the DVD release is possibly expected?

BAD news on the DVD front. Apparently (according to Kevin Shirley) the tape they used to record the show at the Roseland is full of BAD TIMECODE. Here's the official word from the Shirley webpage (www.cavemanproductions.com):

"...that Dream Theater show we recorded for a Xmas DVD is full of bad timecode, which is a technical way of saying the music won't match the picture! As anyone who's ever demanded a refund will know, this could be a reason for that request, which in turn denies sales! So, Mr. Squeaky, New York's resident time-code expert and massive Cognac consumer, will try and exorcise this synch demon this week, and I can get on with the arduous task of turning another Mike Portnoy vision into reality!"

It does look, however, like they're trying to get this DVD released by Christmas, though, and while it may not happen because of this setback, it's quite a possibility!

(I'm sending this off to both The Mirror and the Ytsejam because there are issues that I'm sure everybody wants to know about, like that sticker and the DVD info.)

I don't know if anybody else has mentioned this, but one of JP's solos on the first Explorer's Club cd (I think it's the first solo on the first track, actually) sounds extremely similar to the two solos in Overture 1928...

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knows anything to prove this wrong, but does dream theater play the same set over and over in a tour? This setlist looks almost exactly the same as the one i saw in chicago a few months ago! That would kinda suck if they never mix it up! let me know if you know if this is false. tonyC In a message dated 9/6/00 9:49:49 AM Central Daylight Time, ytsejam@torchsong.com writes:

Hmmm... it would be cool if someone would create a true type font out of the DT logo & the Majesty logo. My company's corporate logo is a true type font consisting of just a few characters tied to the specific "letters" of the logo, so you could type something like "DREAM THEatER" to have 2 different versions of the "a" and of the "t"... Anyone have some good type software and a boat load of free time? ;-)

    > > Are there any die-cut majesty symbols or Dream Theater stickers > > available? And again, if so , where are they? I have a I&W style DT logo on my truck's rear window. One of those typical cut-out window stickers with a band's name. I found it in a local CD shop quite by accident one day, and haven't seen any since... Although I did see someone at the San Diego DT show with a huge version of this logo across their entire windshield (in the sun visor spot). They must have connections in a sign making shop or something...

OK, for anybody who loves NHBRadio, or who doesn't have a clue about us, I have made the mp3 files that I use for automation available for uplading off of Napster. ust do a search for nhbradio.com and you will get everything I have. If anybdy knows how to do a search by screen name, the name is nhbradio. Have fun, and please, try not to change the filenames. WE are trying to get cheap promotion here.
