    Hey All--
My extreme apologies about just randomly mailing a chunk of the last jam
to the jam for no apparent reason. I was trying to forward that chunk to
a friend, but idiotically hit "reply to" instead of "forward" and didn't
even notice. Things just haven't been the same since the lobotomy.

My stepdaughter is 13 and LOVES that song! She demands that I put it in the
CD player every time she rides in my car. I play a lot of DT for her, and
she likes the drums (being a fledgling drummer herself) but not much else.
But she has always liked King's X, and even Ty Tabor's solo album. ("Play
the Monkey song!" Some of you will get that one.)

Anyway, "Over My Head" is very catchy and repetitive, and Doug Pinnick puts
SOOOOOOO much soul into it - his screams send shivers down my spine. I
guess those are some of the reasons that teenager girls who heard it
    somewhere would like it.

Obvious religious overtones? Hmm, can't be too obvious - I can't think of
anything in the song that's religious - wait, OK, "Grandma used to sing,
every night, when she was praying". That's all I can think of without
listening to it again. But then, the rest of the KX catalogue has TONS of
    religious references.

For all us guitar freaks on the list, i found this web-site called
guitarkgeek.com its got all kinds of things, but the best is the live and
studio set-up of tons of guitar players. Look at Yngwie's. all you can do
    is laugh.

Im surprised that no one has mentioned this before considering
the number of Twin Peaks posts there's been, but in the liner notes
to Images + Words the band thank 'the dancing dwarf, Bob and the log lady'.
