Now that's hilarious! :-) You should go back and listen
more carefully to "She's a Dancer" by Crack the Sky now....

My first CD was "William Tell & other Favorite Overtures"
which I bought in 1987 in college before I had a CD player. I
remember playing "William Tell" (the Lone Ranger theme section) on my
roommate's CD player at ridiculous volumes so that the people on the
street would be looking up at our room in confusion. :-) I think
our neighbors must have really hated us. That CD has another of my
favorite classical overtures too, "Poet and Peasant" by Franz von Suppe.
Dire Straits' "Brothers In Arms" CD was another early purchase. That's
still one of the best sounding CDs ever, IMHO. Very crisp and clean.
I can't remember what my first tape was, but I remember
my first order from Columbia House included Judas Priest's "Screaming
for Vengeance" probably around 1982. "Electric Eye" is still a great
    song. :)
My first music purchase, probably when I was about 9 was
a 45 record (sigh) of "The Entertainer" (theme song from the movie "The
Sting"). Not long after that I got ELO's "Don't Bring Me Down" on 45 too.
