    Skadz,
I hope that this doesn't mean that some of our email will be
rejected due to subject lines and so on... Does it?
I really, really don't understand why you won't simply
disallow posts from non-subscribers. When we asked whether anyone
strongly objected to that idea, *no one spoke up*. It is a very
simple approach to eliminating spam and we don't have to worry
about getting our own posts rejected. The argument that some
people use multiple addresses to post just doesn't hold water or
else we'd have heard about it. If everyone is willing to put
up with the 'hardship' of posting from a single account, why
won't you implement it? If we find out in a month that there
is some horrendous penalty to disallowing non-subscribers, hey,
we can then go back to Jeroen's filters. No harm done. But,
instead what I think we'll find is that the Ytsejam becomes a
better place than it has been recently.
When people start leaving due to the spam, as they are,
it's getting to be too late.
            Thanks for your consideration.

                                    Steve

P.S. I'm not normally this vocal about spam but I'm tired of good
people leaving the Jam just because a simple fix won't be implemented.
    I miss them.
