Hey Jammers,
Here's something that struck me funny tonite around 4: 22 . I was
listening to Lords of Acid (Farstucker ) and for some reason the tv was
tuned to Queen Latifa, when out of the blue there was Joan Osbourne
doing some number ( don't know what I couldn't hear her )
Both songs had basically the same tempos.
( the LoA song was Glad I'm not God )
Anyway it reminded me of the funniest Music
w/ silent video splicing instances I've come across yet; which is Pink
Floyd's The Great Gig in the Sky w/ The Wizard of Oz scene where the
cowardly lion does If I Were King of the Forest. ( not a Duke not an
Earl not a Prince )

This poses the question does anyone have any ideas of movie scenes that
would "go" well with a Dream Theater song ( excluding of course what has
been done already ) I mean more like Monty Python or a aong and dance
number by Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. Then again there's always Black
Sabbath and Scooby Doo.

Oh well just a thought from someone who doesn't know better. Have a Day

Well, I am a huge friedman fan, a fan of the early deth stuff. Rust in

Instead of blowing $2000+ on a JP signature Ernie Ball, save $1700 and go to

Don't give up yet - I've been playing 15 years all self taught, and I'm
still playing the same runs and stuff from those early days, although they
do sound more fluid and faster these days!

You can't circumvent these things - it's just practice, practice, practice!
And practice everything (I didn't and kind of got stuck in a rut!)
