I move is their second cd, "Sliver of the Sun" is their first.
Don't know which I like better....

Newer neo-prog (like Arena, Marillion, etc.) Again, one
album ("I Move"). More going on, musically, than your
average neo-prog band. They're good, but I haven't been
in a really neo-prog mood lately, so again, no
recommendation one way or the other.

It's definitely one of them, as far as I'm concerned. I also
like the one towards the end of the live aCoS, even though the
feel for that one is completely different. But yes, the reggae
section definitely moved that solo to a new level, so to speak.
I've been thinking recently, how vastly different JR's influence
on the band is from that of DS, in live shows. It's one that is
original (whether an accurate interpretation of original
material or not), in a lot of ways. I haven't thought about
this long enough to put it into words, but it seems like stuff
JR does live seems to stick, almost as if part of the live
version of the song. DS didn't really do it, with him they'd
just come up with a whole new section for various tours, or even
shows on the same tour. Anybody understand what I'm talking
about?

Hey everyone,
Ok, so here's the plan. I have the hub up and running and I'm currently
sharing about 1 Gig of stuff (I have more, but I didn't bring the CD's with
me to school this year). Its not "sorted" very well, but it works.
So, want to be a part of the new community? Download the DirectConnect
software http://www.neo-modus.com/
Then send an email to ytsejamdc@hotmail.com with your username. I will then
add you to the registered user's list and send you a reply when its done
(along with your password (which will be your username, unless for some
reason its too short, etc) and the server to which you can connect to). I
decided to do the register process, because it allows me to monitor for
leechers and "bad users" more easily.
Please don't abuse this system! And stay connected to distribute the load.
As soon as it's abused, I'll start banning people, and if it then gets out
of hand, I'll close the hub. Don't ruin it for other people.
Ok. So hopefully this all goes smoothly =) I await your email. Remember!

I had to smile when he played that solo. The bonus
material on that DVD is the best part, and the reggae
section was a nice surprise. If everything is played
exactly like the studio version, I'd rather just have
the studio version.
