awesome! I'm preordering right now =)
Whatever happened to Gildenlow from PoS? He's not on the record anywhere!!!
I know Kevin was gonna be vocalist, but did Daniel get "kicked out" altogether or what?

Yes, he was a day away from flying to the recording session when he found
out he was no longer in the group.
Lots of people (including me) were upset about this.

Yeah, apparently Matheos (he's the leader, right?) decided not to use
Gildenlow and use Moore only as vocalist. It's too bad; I think
Gildenlow's voice would have made a completely different album.

I like to go down to the dog pound and pretend
that I've found my dog. Then I tell them to kill
it anyway because I already gave away all of his
stuff. Dog people sure don't have a sense of
humor.

>From other interviews ive read (mainly one by jim matheos) the project at
first was going to be prog metal oriented (ANOTHER one?) and they had
written out some long tunes and what not, but after kevmo came into the
studio, the direction of the project went 180deg in a way, im pretty sure
thats the reason Daniel was no longer to be involved... since it evolved
into a "heavy chromakey" type project..
personally, as much as i LOVE Gildenlow's voice and think he is a genius, im
quite happy with the direction OSI took, and even though ive only heard one
incomplete song, it seems quite interesting and refreshing... much better
than just another "prog metal supergroup side project" type album

See, the problem with this is that I thought Daniel would have still added some guitar / vocal parts. I don't see why they had to kick him out just because he wasn't gonna sing anymore...

A message inspired by Souter, Jan-Michael:
I realize that I am about 10 days late here and the topic has already
been addressed by others, but you walked out of "Dark City?" Holy
Cow! I loved that movie. I'm not trying to be antagonistic, or
anything. I'm just so stunned that I had to leave lurker mode. Are
you sure that it was the "Dark City?" The rather freaky one? The
one with Jennifer Connelly? Oh, well. To each his or her own. Back
to lurking. Just think about giving it another shot.
