            Well, I wouldn't really say that Echolyn is that similar
    to DT. They do have complex music with lots of time changes and
    cool rhythms though.
            I would still *highly* recommend seeing them live. I've
    seen them twice now and before I'd seen them live I hadn't been
    that impressed by their albums. They put on a *fantastic* live
    show though (rivalling DT in overall quality). Their vocals are
    extremely powerful and the music is incredibly tight in their live
    show. Many of the people who I was with had never heard them
    before and they came away very impressed. After hearing them live,
    I listened to their studio album and it was much more impressive
    (I think they do come across more powerfully live though, maybe
    because of the mix on the album, I'm not sure).
            I'd recommend seeing them live to any DT fan, though don't
    go in expecting a typical metal band or another Dream Theater.
